Lauren's P.O.V.

It's been three days since I got that text, 'We need to talk', and I haven't really gotten a reply from whoever sent it. I just started to forget about it and enjoyed the rest of this vacation.

The day after we had arrived in my father's house, my brothers and I went to the skate park - as promised by Mike. It was fun having company that weren't my sisters and my best friends for a change. I was starting to lose that independent side of me since everyone I hung out with were the usual. Thank god my brothers didn't hate me.

Then after that we just went on a picnic by the shoreline. Even though mom and dad still didn't warm up to each other, they still made small talk about work and stuff. I know there was something bothering them, but they didn't even bother telling anyone - only Christina and Mike knew though.

Yesterday was sort of just a barbecue outside with some of my father's friends and clients. Gladly, they had daughters and sons my age, so it wasn't that awkward - or boring. We just spent the whole day sharing anecdotes, achievements, and laughs.

Today, we were just staying home since mom and dad were off to work. Mom had left early since it was a long ass drive. It was just us siblings.

"So Laur, how was school?" Mike asked me.

"Great I guess," I shrugged at the thought of going back there for two more years.

"Liar," he scoffed.

"Fine, it was horrendous," I grunted.

He chuckled at my reaction and I just hit him with a cushion. Brothers really are just stupid, but you gotta love them despite their attitude.

"Met anyone?" he asked. He had that cheeky grin on him and I blushed.

I shook my head no because I wouldn't want to remember him. He was the only guy I've crushed on this year - fuck.

"More lies," he spat.

"I met one guy..."

He looked alarmed at my statement. Of course, because he's my brother and it's his job to make sure no boy comes near me.

"He's a complete douche though," I sighed. I know it wasn't true, but I don't want my brother interogating my life.

He nodded at me before continuing to watch Duck Dynasty - family favorite.

I should stop worrying about Harry, he left and now he's gone. I don't need him, and he doesn't need me. He was just a glimpse of what a great guy could be...

My phone vibrated so I left the couch. I walked up to the guest bedroom and locked myself inside.

The same number from three days ago texted back.

Do you have skype?

Why does this stranger even need my skype name?

Yeah, but I'm not giving it to you.

I'm not a stranger, and this is important.

In defeat, I sighed and just punched in my skype name. From the side of the bed I got my laptop and opened it up. It took a while for Skype to load because of the crappy connection in this house.

Dad needs to get on that.

When it finally loaded, I got a request.

Hey, we need to talk.

I accepted the request and waited. I wasn't sure what I was waiting for, I just assumed the stranger would call. Half an hour later, I received a call.
