When Louis woke up the next morning, at first he didn't remembered last nights events, but as he opened his eyes, and saw his husband sleeping next to him, everything came back to him.
But instead of feeling angry as he had felt last night, he felt sad, very sad.
He didn't know what was going on with Harry, but what he did know was that he wasn't the same person he was when they met, he wasn't even the same person he was when they got married. To be honest, right now Louis felt like he barely even knew him, which wasn't right; they were married!
Louis was supposed to be the person who knew Harry better than anyone, and right now, that seemed far from the truth.
Normally, waking up before Tori on a weekend, meant that they could cuddle in bed, and spend some alone time.
But today Louis didn't feel like doing any of that, so he just got up from the bed, and walked out of his bedroom. He checked on Tori first, to see if she was awake, but she was still sleeping, so Louis went downstairs on his own.
But it seemed he wasn't the only one that was up in the house.
"Good morning" Mark greeted him when he walked inside the kitchen.
"Morning, dad" Louis replied "Where's mum?".
"Still sleeping" Mark answered "What about Harry?".
"Sleeping too" Louis replied.
"Do you want coffee?" Mark offered as he took the pot from the machine.
"Sure" Louis agreed.
"I'm glad only us are up, because I've been wanting to ask you something" Mark said as he poured coffee in two mugs.
"What is it?" Louis wondered, and picked up one of the mugs, and took a sip of the coffee.
Mark left the coffee pot on the counter, and walked up to the corner kitchen cupboard, opened it, and took out a bottle from the top shelf.
A bottle that looked like whisky.
"I haven't had any of this whisky in at least a month, and that time I remember the bottle being at around three quarters, but now there's a less than half left" Mark said as he put the bottle on the counter in front of Louis "I know it wasn't your mum because she doesn't like whisky, so that only leaves you... and Harry".
"Uhm..." Louis hesitated as his brain quickly processed the information.
He remembered his husband mentioning that whisky, so he immediately knew it had to have been Harry who had some.
"Well?" Mark demanded.
"It was me, yeah... and Harry" Louis lied, wanting to protect Harry "We drank some that night you and mum went to that anniversary thing, and then also last weekend".
"Listen, Lou, I don't mind that two drink sometimes, you're both 18 so you can do what you want in that respect, as long as you're being responsible" Mark told him very seriously "But that doesn't mean you can drink this whisky without asking me, it's an expensive bottle, not even I drink it all the time".
"I'm sorry, dad, we should've asked" Louis apologized, although he had nothing to do with it "I can replace it if you want".
He was going to murder Harry!
"No, it's okay" Mark sighed, and picked up the bottle and put it away "It's not like you drank the entire bottle".
"Did you tell mum about this?" Louis asked hesitantly.
"No, I haven't told her yet".
"Can you please not tell her?" Louis begged, knowing his mum was going to huge deal about it "Please?".
