Juliette's POV:

It's been two weeks since I've talked about Amado with Sebastian, and after asking Merlin to contact him, I've honestly been happier. These past couple of days have literally been the epitome of Hell, though.

We've been busy with one thing or another - whether it was planning the Coronation or torutring that bitch Sabrina just for the fun of it.

Throughout these weeks, I decided that I wanted to get to know the people I'm gonna rule, as well as the land that I am going to be ruling over with my future husband.

I've read almost every book there is - with the help of Majo and Mario - about the vampire species and their Royal ancestors.

Turns out that the very first vampire originated from Spain, but back in his time it wasn't named Spain.

He had found his Mate, and after Turning her, they both decided to start their own Clan, before the Wares took over all the land. From then on, the whole of Spain was labelled as "the Royal city of Vampires."

There have been quite a lot of rebellions over the years, a lot of betrayal, and certainly a lot of distrust in the little Clan back then, but years later, their efforts are bearing beautiful results because there are more than two billion Vamps on the planet.

I've learned quite a bit about Seb's bloodline, too.

Seb is actually the forth King to reign over Spain, but by the time he had to take the Crown and ascend the Throne, Spain was so overcrowded that some of the people were over lapping in Portugal, which was starting a conflict with the people there.

He practically had to think on his feet and find land that's closer to Spain but further from the States, since that's where the Wares and the Warlocks usually reign.

And that's where we are today. In a huge land that he decided to call the Secluded Forest because with a little bit of magic, this place is hidden under the human eye and can only be seen by other Super species, like the Wizards for example.

Since Merlin is basically half Vampire, he is one of the reasons why the relationship between Vamps and Wizards is so strong.

He's Sebastian's father's half brother from his mother's side... I think, so the relationship has been going strong for almost four hundred years.

So in short, Merlin's really old.

Out of all the things that I've learned of the land and its people, I've learned one thing for certain: the majority of the Royal Council definitely don't like me.

I don't give a shit, though, because I don't like them as well - hell, I wanna rip their throats out knowing what I know - so obviously calming down when I had to see one of them was hard.

I got to meet some of the people in the Kingdom, and they're really sweet and kind.

Some of the ones I've met have such think accents that I actually believe that they're originally from Spain.

Overall, it definitely has been an interesting two weeks, but throughout everything that has happened, I've gotta say, I miss Seb.

The only time I get to see my Mate is in the morning when he leaves, and when I sneak into the room in the early hours of the morning for my usual kiss and spooning. I mean, we do talk through our mind-link, but honestly, nothing beats the real thing.

Who knew that I could be so sappy and girly, especially over a douche of a guy?

Smiling at the thought, I hear Seb's voice fill my mind.
