Juliette's POV:
I don't remember when I slept.
As soon as I woke up, I found that I was alone in the room. So, I went to the bathroom for a long shower before going to the closet and rummaging for a pantsuit to wear. Soon, I find the perfect one and along with a black dress shirt, I put them on and tie my curly hair into a neat, loose bun. After wearing my black heels, I immediately leave the room and go to the kitchen to eat.
Once I get down the stairs, I find that Corina's in the kitchen making pancakes. Once she spots me, her face lights up into a bright smile.
"Good morning! You're looking fabulous today!" She says, and I smile at her.
"It seems like a good morning for you, since you're glowing...." I trail off with a smirk, making her cheeks heat up.
"It's an incredibly long story." She mutters before taking two plates out and placing pancakes on them.
"Where's Maria José?" I ask, but she only shrugs before handing me a fork.
"You'll see her later today." She tells me, making me sigh before something catches my eye.
Someone's been kinky....
"I see Caleb made sure that everyone knows that you're his." I comment, and her cheeks heat up even more.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." She mumbles before turning away, making me smirk at her.
"That hickey on your neck says otherwise." I tell her, and she gasps before turning to look at me with wide eyes.
"Hickey? Where?" She asks as she frantically starts to search for the hickey, making my smirk widen before I place her finger where it is.
"It's one big mark you got there, Cor. Better make sure that Mario doesn't see it...." I mumble before chuckling at her horrified expression.
"Shut up." She warns before sighing, but I hold my hands up in surrender.
"I can't even believe he did that." She mutters and I snicker before covering the mark with her hair.
"There. Now, you don't have to worry about anyone else questioning you." I assure her before digging into the pancakes, but not without thanking her first.
"Thanks, Riri." She says, and look at her in confusion.
"Riri? What the hell is a 'Riri'?" I ask her, but she only shrugs.
"Your middle name is Paris, right?"
"Yeah."
"So, 'Riri' is short for 'Paris'." She says with a smile, and I roll my eyes for the first time today.
"That nickname is stupider than 'Luli', and trust me, that nickname stuck with me throughout my whole first year of high school." I tell her, making her laugh.
"Stupider? What are you? Eight?" She says before chuckling, but I only shrug at her.
"I probably am." I say with a smug smile, making her roll her eyes."
"So, what's on your schedule today?" She asks, and I sigh while I finish the last of my breakfast.
"I have to go with Riley to where the guards train and I'll probably spend the rest of the day in the office after." I reply with a shrug.
Long day ahead for this Queen.
"Ooh, girl, for someone who's usually so carefree and unruly, I doubt you'll be able to hold your sanity together by the end of the week." She comments, making me sigh heavily.
