Juliette's POV:
Fifty minutes taking a shower and a few choice words were yelled at me through the Link for calling a meeting and taking so long, I go to the closet and scan my options.
Smiling, I take Seb's white dress shirt along with black ripped pants and a pair of Vans. I quickly dry my hair and curl it, since it's been a while since I've done so.
Sighing, I walk over to the meeting room - where it's can hold all of us because Seb's office gets smaller each time we're all stuffed in it - and find the family (including Caleb and Celene) chatting and waiting. I see Seb is at the front of the table, and there's a chair next to him that's vacant.
Rolling my eyes, I walk in and close the door, and when I turn around, everyone's looking at me.
"I can't believe you took this fucking long only to come out so beautiful." Majo mutters, making me roll my eyes.
"I'm here now, aren't I?" I yell out so that everyone can understand how sorry I am.... actually, I'm not sorry at all. I needed that shower.
"Get seated, love, and the meeting may begin." Seb says, and I smile at him as I take my place next to him.
"Before we start, is this room soundproof?" I ask, not hiding my scepticism.
"Don't worry, Juli, it's safe here." Merlin assures me, making me smile at him.
"Alright then, let's start with progress so far. How's Sabrina's blood coming along?" Seb asks while looking at Merlin expectantly, making me sigh.
"Her blood is absolutely pure, Sebastian. Too pure. There is so evidence of magic in her blood whatsoever, which is weird." He mumbles the last part out, and Seb clenches his teeth in annoyance.
"Either she's been using dark magic, or there's a cloak in her blood." Celene comments thoughtfully, making me look at her in confusion.
"What do you mean?" I ask, and all three of Merlin and the Masters look at me pointedly.
"What she means is: there's a possibility that someone put a spell to hide the magic in her blood so she wouldn't be deemed suspicious once we've found a trace of it." Merlin explains, and I nod my head in understanding.
"So, how are you planning to...uncloak her bloodstream?" I ask, making Caleb groan.
"Look, we'll figure something out, okay?" He says, and he doesn't even bother to hide his frustration.
I was about to say something, but I see Corina holding his hand and squeezing it, calming Caleb down.
"Alright then, we'll be waiting for the outcome of your results." I state a little awkwardly, and since he sensed my uneasiness, Seb took my hand and rubbed circles on it, sending millions of tingles through my body.
"Now, on to the most important reason why we're all here..." Stephen trails off, making me groan.
"Fucking Hercules." I growl, and I sense Seb's anger and uneasiness as well, so I squeeze his hand in reassurance.
"And Destiny, before you forget." Celene says, making me roll my eyes.
"How ever would I forget?" I ask sarcastically before sighing.
"Look here, people, I suggest we go with what we should've done in the first place: we each split up and search the Kingdom for any clues." I command, and everyone looks at me in surprise.
"Stop using your aura to intimidate us." Mario muttered, and I glared at him.
"Besides, we could never know what happens once we split up. I say splitting up is a bad idea." Riley comments, and I glared at him also.
