Juliette's POV:
Two days have passed since Amado and I have spoke, and today, is the day we leave. Since Seb's secret surprise is still on my mind, I'm sure he's taking me somewhere where could be alone before we head back to Drapax.
I'm kind of sad - mind you - of leaving here. This place may be a safehouse to protect the whole family, but not once have I felt the danger lurk between these grounds. Only the exhilaration and pure fucking adrenaline.
These people have been nice to Seb and I, and I couldn't be grateful enough.
"Hey, just know that we're here for you whenever you need us. I've got insane connections." I tell Amado, to which he rolls his eyes.
"I don't care about your stupid connections which will probably lead me to eating at McDonald's for some fucked up reason." He grumbles, to which I roll my eyes at before embracing him.
"Stay safe, okay?" I tell him.
"Only if you stay alert, and vigilant." He replies, and I roll my eyes.
"I'm a former assassin, Amado....well, I'm still an assassin...point is: I'm always vigilant. No matter what." I mutter before we let go of each other to look at him.
"How long till you leave?" He asks, and I look at my black leather watch.
"About ten minutes." I reply, to which he nods at.
"Go say your goodbyes then, but I have to be the last one." He whispers, making me laugh before going to hug the rest of the family.
After fifteen minutes of fucking emotional hugs and bids of goodbye, by the time I'm looking at Amado and Sebastian again, my eyes are streaming with tears.
"I hate emotions." I say while staring at the both of them, while my Mate looks at me in understanding while my brother - yes, my brother - feels the same.
"I'll catch you on the flip side, Juli." He mumbles, and I laugh at his backwardness.
"This is the fucking 21st century, dude, I don't think you'll 'catch me on the flip side' because I'll be half a century ahead of you." I deadpan, but he only rolls his eyes before pulling me in for a hug.
"I love you. So much." He mumbles, making me squeeze tighter.
"I love you too, you idiot." I say before letting go of him, and he laughs a little before wiping my cheeks.
"I don't remember you being so sappy." He points out, to which I stick my tongue out at.
"Fuck you, Amado. Leaving is freaking hard. You should know that." I tell him, and he nods in understanding before turning to Sebastian.
"Take care of her, man, or I'll put a silver bullet in your skull otherwise." He says dangerously low enough for only Seb and I to hear.
"Even if Ju and I were to fight, I can't be harmed by silver bullets." Seb retorts, and I roll my eyes before grabbing Seb's hand and stare at everyone one last time.
"I'll be back, guys. Give me five months and I'll be back." I tell them before stepping into the SUV.

Thirty minutes later, we're on a private jet that I felt super undressed for, so as soon as we were in the air I went to change into a royal blue pantsuit and pulled my hair into a neat bun, with several strands out of course.
"I think I just might cancel the getaway and have you right here, right now." Seb says while looking at me hungrily, to which I blush furiously at.
