54. Insufferable Son of Zeus

Sebastian's POV:

Great, now I miss her.

It's been thirteen full fucking hours without seeing or talking to my Mate, and it's been so fucking awful.

The moment I arrived home yesterday, Uncle Merlin was waiting for me at the gate.

"Nice to see that I will be welcomed with such wonder and enthusiasm." I said before laughing humorlessly, making my uncle roll his eyes.

"Don't be a grumpy old bitch, nephew. I hope you know that there are a lot of things that we need to talk about once we deal with the problem that inside the house." He says sternly, making me sigh before we both head over to the house.

As soon as I open the doors, I see Stephen standing there - his shoulders slumped and his hair all messed up - while I look at him in confusion, he only rolls his eyes and pulls me inside.

"I've been fucking waiting for you, man! That bastard is driving me so fucking insane!!" He whisper shouts, making me laugh a little.

"He can't be so bad that you wanna pull your head out, right?" I ask as we turn a corner. I see he's taking me to my office.

"You have no fucking idea, dude. I swear I want Riley to come back and hit grace me with his knocking out abilities right now." He muttered before we both stand at the door.

"I'm going to go and check on Corina. He's yours and Uncle Merlin's problem now." He says before speeding off.

Sighing, I open a door to find a bored-looking teenager who's sitting on my chair.... Juliette and I's chair.

"So, I take it you're Hercules?" I ask nonchalantly while I put a blank face on.

"And I take it that you didn't come with your Mate?" He asks with a bored expression, making me sigh before I sit on my couch.

"My Mate went to make Maria José and Riley aware of our....visitor." I tell him before relaxing and closing my eyes.

"Liar. She's probably telling Destiny to hide somewhere else because she knows that I'm gonna find her soon." He says, and I snap my eyes open to glare at him.

"My Mate and I been quite busy with matters concerning the Kingdom. Why the fuck would she decide out of nowhere to kidnap someone that's way more powerful than her?" I ask with a low tone to my voice.

Standing up, he stalks toward me and crouches down to examine me.

"Hmm. I see you've already completed your Mating. That's why your aura is so commanding and powerful." He says before standing up again.

"Quite a shame that it won't work on me though, so I need you to tell me the truth and nothing but the truth, if you don't want any problems." He warns, but I only roll my eyes before standing up and looking at him.

"Listen here, little boy, I am the King, and you will respect me. This is not Olympus where you get to be a turd to all the Demi Gods. You're in my territory. My kingdom. Respect that, now." I say while keeping my tone dangerously low, but he only laughs.

"Please, Sebastian, I'm way more powerful than you and I am your superior in every way possible. You can't just order me around like I'm one of your subjects." He says while trying to stare me down.

If Mario and Stephen hadn't pulled me out of there, I would've definitely murdered that turd. How dare he accuse Juli of kidnapping Destiny?! He's an idiot if he insists that idea in that stupid head of his.
