47. A Sister's Love

María José's POV:

As soon as I shut the door, I glare at him with everything I've got.

"What the fuck did you do to her?!" I ask, making sure my voice is eerily calm while thunder booms outside.

I'm losing control and someone's definitely gonna get it.

Seeing Caleb's eyes starting to glow, I feel mine glow also, while my stare is unmoving from his.

"I did what I had to do before things escalated." He mutters before I hear a thunderstorm.

"You did what you had to do?" I ask, my voice still calm before I see continuous streaks of lightning outside Seb's window.

"You fucking did what you fucking had to do?!" I raise my voice higher as his eyes are now fully glowing, but I don't care.

"YOU HURT HER!!" I yell just as Riley enters the office and attempts to touch me, but I give him a death stare.

"If you fucking dare touch me the next streak of lightning has your name on it." I say lowly, and he reluctantly puts his hand down before I return my gaze at the bastard that hurt my sister.

"You best believe your fucking stupid ass that if my sister isn't herself by the end of the week, I'm going to fuck up your life more than it is right now." I warn him, and he takes a threatening step closer.

"Are you threatening me, little girl?" He asks lowly, just as a streak of lighting strikes right through the roof and lands just next to him, .

"You wanna try me, Master of Time? I can make your life a living hell. Don't test me." I say as I take a step closer of my own.

If he thinks that I have to be afraid of him just because he's a fucking Immortal, then he's got another thing coming. This is my fucking sister we're talking about, and I expected more from him, seeing that he's her Mate, but it looks like you can never place such high expectations on a Supernatural, can you.

"You have no fucking idea of what I had to sacrifice so that Corina could be happy." He says as he keeps his tone low.

"Happy? You think my sister's happy right now? At this moment and time?" I yell out, but he hardly flinches.

"I'm doing this for her own good, alright?! Do you think it was easy to just let her down like that?!" He says as his voice comes out in the same octave as mine.

"You have no fucking idea how I felt when I saw my sister enter the house looking dejected like that. And if I'm feeling this way, imagine her fucking twin brother?!" I yell as another streak of lightning strikes down next do him.

"Do you think that it was easy?! I had to make her think that I was hurt by that prick kissing her, when all I wanted to do was to hug her and congratulate her on being so strong!!" He yells out also, just as Mario bursts inside the office and tries to punch him.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!" Mario growls, but luckily Riley held him back and I look at him in annoyance.

"Brother, now is not the time for you to be carnivorous." I hiss, but he all but ignores me as his intense green eyes glare at Caleb.

"What I don't understand is why you haven't slapped this idiot yet." He says before glaring at me, and Caleb takes a step closer, but I'm quick to stop him.

"Riley." I say while looking at him expectantly, and he nods in understanding.

"On it." He says before placing his hand on Mario's forehead, and the idiot starts relaxing immediately until he fell to the floor in unconsciousness.
