Juliette's POV:

As I was about to break down for the very first time in my life, a pair of eyes were staring at me.

My favorite pair of eyes.

They were staring at me in awe, and an emotion I can't quite place yet, but they're literally the only reason why I'm walking forward.

"You look breathtaking." He says while still staring at me, and I smile at him.

"And you look absolutely handsome." I reply, and I can't help but feel an odd sense of déjà vu when I said those words.

As I walk down the aisle, I notice how beautiful this place is: red and pale green are all that I an see in this hall, even the guests are wearing it!

All except for Sebastian, of course.

He's just wearing an all black tuxedo with a white shirt and a red bow tie.

He didn't even bother to gel his hair, which sort of compliments the beautiful crown that's on his head.

"Checking me out during your Coronation?" Seb asks, and I full-on blushed.

"Shut up and look at me. You're literally the only reason I'm walking right now." I say as I try not to trip and fall.

"Well, if it is to get you by my side..." He says, and I fight the urge to roll my eyes.

After making it to a grinning Sebastian, after about a fucking eternity of walking through multiple stares, I don't think it could get any easier, but eerily, it does.

"Good evening, everyone," Seb says through the microphone while holding my hand, squeezing it gently.

"Tonight, we are here to celebrate the Crowning of one of the most exceptional women in my life, and that is my Mate, Juliette Paris Wilson. Not only is she a caliente badass," Seb says, and I playfully glare at him as a few people laughed.

"But she is a caring, loving woman, and I have faith that she's willing to protect anyone whose lives are in danger. So, with that being said, are they any reasons as to why this wonderful woman over here shouldn't be crowned Queen?" Seb asks, and by his tone, I totally felt the double meaning of that question.

One of the Council members rose up, and I swear that right now is when I wanna kill him, but I don't wanna show everyone my abilities, especially when they don't know me that much.

So instead, I smile, and look at the man that stood up. I think his name is...Elder Balder?

"Yes, Elder Calder?" Seb asks, and I internally roll my eyes.

Calder, not Balder. I thought to myself.

"Nice try, though." I hear Corina's voice fill my mind, and I smile genuinely.

"Thanks, Cori." I tell her, and I see her smile at me.

"Your Majesty, Lady Sabrina has been missing ever since the Council meeting two weeks ago, and I think that Miss Juliette has something to do with it." Elder Calder says, and when I hear Sebastian growl - among other gasps in the room - I roll my eyes and take the mic from Sebastian.

"Alright, Elder Calder, what could possibly make you say that? You barely know me but yet you do not even hesitate to accuse me of something I didn't do?" I say, and I see him roll his eyes.

"Remember the last Council meeting when you threatened her?" He asks, and I nod my head.

"Yes, I do remember the Council meeting, and yes, I remember specifically what I said," fortunately for me, "but I don't think she has even looked at Sebastian since, has she?" I ask as obliviously as possible.
