Juliette's POV:

I spot something at the door, and I narrow my eyes at it.

A phone.

"You look like you need to talk. Have a seat." I tell him, and he reluctantly agrees and sits down on a chair that faces mine.

"So, how may I help you?" I ask while trying my best to look nonchalant, but inside my heart and my brain, it's a battlefield.

"I....I wanted to apologize." He says quietly before looking away, which makes me roll my eyes.

"Actually, no. I don't want to apologize because I know that it won't change anything." He says before looking at me solemnly.

"I just wanted to explain myself and after that, whatever you decide I will respect it." He says, making me sigh before relaxing on the chair.

Should l even hear him out? It sounds fair, considering the fact that I now drag Sebastian into unknown Dream Realms without his permission because I miss him terribly, even though I'm still pissed at him. What would it hurt to find out the reason why they both lied to me?

A lot.

Does it matter, though?

Probably not.

Rolling my eyes at myself, I take a deep breath and look at him with a blank expression.

"Fine, but you're gonna have to start at the beginning, and....." I trail off while looking at where the empty pizza box and bottle of wine lie.

I want neither of those, but I think I know what I want just in case I break down again.

"I want a blunt. Jamaican shit." I demand, and his eyes show a glint of amusement before he closes them.

When he opens his eyes, he reaches for something on the floor and takes it out, and it's what looks like a box for cigars. He puts it on the table and I open it, to find what I've been missing for three years.

Even the smell of it reminds me of old times.

"Picked out and rolled with a lighter on the side." He says, and I smile at him before taking one along with the lighter.

I immediately light it up and put it between my lips and have a drag.

Shit.
I've missed this.

"Now, you may explain." I say before puffing the smoke out and sigh in content.

Fuck!!
I've missed this.

"Alright, then." He says uneasily before relaxing on the chair and his eyes glazed over, probably recalling the memory like it was yesterday.

"The day I met her, was the best and worst day of my life." He says thoughtfully, and I close my eyes as if I'm seeing the day myself.

"There was a time that was extremely gruesome for all wizards, warlocks, and witches alike. Supernatural History will label that time as.....Draken's Age." He says with absolute hate in his voice.

"In the seventeen hundreds, there were a lot of hybrids in that time, and they grew to be accepted and loved in the whole Supernatural world. The love and appreciation for them always overcame the hate and malice that came from other people that didn't make an attempt to understand them and their capabilities." He said before taking a breath while I smoke peacefully, letting the scent fill the office with serenity and calm.

Knowing that this was going to take a while, I Mind-Linked the whole family and told them not to disturb Merlin and I unless it was an emergency, and they all agreed without a fight.
