Yusuf's POV

"I'll drive. I have a valid license and I know Kano more than You do  Besides this might be my only chance at riding a BMW. Please." My beautiful brown eyed fiancee pleaded trying to snatch the key from my hands which was way up.

"Zainab!" We both turned our heads around to see who was calling her.

"Uhm... Sunglasses guy?" She asked awkwardly

"It's Ali." The boy who called her said making her smiled sheepishly. "Hey man I don't think we've met. I live two houses away." He introduced himself extending his hand for a handshake which I took.

"Nice to meet you man. I don't live around here I stay at the country's capital." I say without giving him my name. I'm really not interested in being in his presence anymore especially since the guy had to whisper something in Zainab's  ear now.

"Oh thanks Ali I'll see you around." She said frowning.

I wonder what he told her.

"Bye uhmm.." Ali try to recall the name I never mentioned. I look at him feeling slightly amused

"My name is Yusuf." I said relieving him of his awkward situation.

"Bye Yusuf." He finally went away.

"Such a cool guy." I say immediately I noticed Zainab looking at me weirdly. Like she was trying to figure out something from my face.

"Hmm" was all she said

We waited patiently for Maryam but a very pissed looking Ahmad stormed towards us slamming the main gate of the house  shortly after he came out Fatima followed.

"What's happening between them?" I asked Zainab

"Ahmad just discovered Fatima has been lying to him about herself." I listened attentively. "He just found out that she eats goat meat." She said looking serious. Is this a joke?

"Ahmad what's going on bruh?" I called as he came closer.

"Your sister Fatima thinks so low of me. Do you know she ignored and humiliated me for two good weeks now she comes to me with a stupid accusation. So what if I met with my ex it's not as if I'm going back to her for God sake she is married..."

"Was." Zainab corrected and Ahmad glared at her. She rolled her eyes at him.

"I'm sorry it's just that you never told me about this girl. I found out about her from Sally and some people who attended the same school with you. I'm sorry I was just jealous. She's so beautiful and I'm not as pretty as she is. I just got scared that you'll leave me so I decided to distant my self so that when you do it won't hurt much." Fati confessed.

I never knew it would be something this serious because a certain someone told me that it was because Ahmad discovered that Fatima eats goat me. I glanced at Zainab and found her smiling like she was enjoying her friends pain.

"Wow it's like I'm watching a real life soap opera. So sweet wallahi."  Zainab cheered and I frown.

What kind of friend enjoy seeing her friend in pain.

"Ahmad. Please let's talk about this. Don't break the engagement it will break me too. I can't bear it I'm sorry this two weeks has been torture for me. I love you. I swear I do." My cousin sister went on her knees begging.

"Eww so sappy. This is the part where I usually fast forward."

"Zainab I'll squeeze your ear if you don't stop talking." Ahmad threatened her. "Fatima please stand up and try not to go on your knees when next you want my forgiveness."
