Chapter 17
Zainab's POV
Sometimes there are painful situation you find yourself in and all you want to do is run away from the person who put you such situation or Maybe you might want to hurt that person so that they feel exactly how you feel. I'm sure that's how my sister Amina is feeling right now.
She might probably be thinking of ways to get me out of her life permanently because I'm the cause of her present pain. Yep innocent me.It has been a couple of days since I found out that Amina boyfriend is a big time fraudster. I digged into ferton bank news and update, both past and present and discovered that Hindatu was not lying and when she said he was a fraudster. I showed all the evidence I got to my step mom and now she is informing Amina about her bad boyfriend.
Amina looked torn, refusing to believe what her mother was telling her and she was constantly sending glares my way. What did I do? If not for me she was going to to be scammed and heartbroken. I just helped her prevent a major money loss because scammers in Nigeria are so skilled and ruthless but she's acting like I'm the bad guy.
"You know if you had told us about this man we would have done a background check on him but no! you refuse to tell me who he is, now see what you would have gotten yourself into." My stepmom was angrily scolding her while she sat on her bed crying her eyes out. I have never seen Amina so weak and torn it's not a good sight.
"Wow, you have many clothes how come I only see you in your nursing uniform clothe thingy." I exclaimed forgetting the situation she was in. Her wardrobe is filled with so many beautiful clothes. I guess when you are working and getting paid you can afford so many clothes to decorate your wardrobe. "Is that what my brain translate it to be." I said as I saw a treadmill in a corner of the room.
"Zee Mama now is not the time." My step mom scolded.
"Oops sorry." I apologized. You can't blame me, I never get to enter Amina's room so now that I have the opportunity to I'm just shocked that my sister is so rich.
"Mummy, he said he would marry me and he needed time to be on his feet and we should keep our relationship a secret. I didn't know he was fooling me. God! I'm a failure once again aren't I? Zee Mama you can laugh at me I won't hold it against you I also would laugh at me right now. I thought it was real, he said he loves me but I bet he said it to all the other girls mummy." She cried bitterly in her mother's arm.
I felt really bad for her. Is this what heartbreak looks like? I pray to Allah that I'll never experience it.
"I'm sorry Amy." I moved closer trying to console her.
"Are you happy now? Don't act like you don't enjoy seeing me like this."
I didn't know what to say since she I've never seen her like this.
"Amina it's not your sister's fault I asked her to help me out. please stop transferring your anger to her." My stepmom defended me.
"I'll just let you be. Sorry say I help you realise say the man na scammer." With that being said said I walked out of her beautiful room. It's better if she doesn't see my face which would definitely fuel her pain.

"Sadiq Kaybee!" I called out my brothers name.
No answer.
"Abeg come na." I pleaded. They were upstairs and I was downstairs while their room was up and I didn't feel like going up.
"What is it?" Kaybee asked as they came downstairs. I motioned them to seat at the couch opposite me and they did.
