Violette was kind of glad the Danzigs lived just across the street so that she didn't have to deal with the awkward car ride to Nat's house. Jason's Uncles house. The house of someone she had to be related to. She still had't wrapped her head around that fact. Or that she had a superpower that could potentially kill her. And Frank hadn't told her. Her whole life he knew and said nothing. She knew Jason, Viola, and Nat were all feeling the same way, but it still hurt. It hurt realizing maybe there was a reason her Mom died to giving birth to her, but she really didn't want to think about that. So she distracted herself by telling Autumn, who had a horrible sleep schedule and was still awake for some reason, everything she had just learned. Honestly, if it weren't for the cuts on Violette's hands, Autumn wouldn't believe her. Autumn tried calling Shadow because 'they're a comic book nerd, I'm sure they know what you're talking about', but for some reason they weren't picking up.

"Okay, so you just get this Jenna person to make you more of the stuff, then you can sit next Nat without bleeding everywhere. Or you text Mom and have her send over your vitamins." This advice from Autumn didn't comfort Violette like intended, but make her freak out after realizing "What if Larissa doesn't give Miles and the twins their vitamins?!"

"Can you remind Mom that they need them?" Asked Autumn, trying not to sure her own worry. But before Violette had a chance to respond, her phone when off. She quickly ran over to the desk it had been placed on and answered it immediately after seeing it was Nat (the four of them had exchanged numbers after Mikey had dropped the bombshells on them). Autumn gave Violette some privacy and left to go try Shadow's number again.

"Hey,"

"Hi, so, um, I talked to my Dad, and he said Uncle Joe and your Mom were pretty close but no ever knew if the two of them were, like, a thing."

"Okay, thank you."

"It's no problem, really, uh, Jason just walked back in so, uh, can I put you on speaker?"

"Yeah, that's chill."

"Hey, 'Lette, uhh is it okay if I call you 'Lette?"

"Sure, I don't mind."

There was a bit of an awkward silence before Jason said quietly "So I guess we're half siblings, 'Lette?"

"Yeah, I mean technically not cuz you're adopted."

"Aw, I always knew I was adopted, that doesn't make my Pop any less my Pop, it just means now I get to share him."

"Yeah, I guess," Violette said, cuz she didn't want to wonder whether or not her Dad would accept her or did he even deserve to be called Dad when Frank was the one who had raised her?

"I can't imagine how Viola is feeling right now," Said Nat.

"I should probably call her, actually." Jason reminded himself.

"Autumn tried to call her earlier, I think she's busy talking to her Uncle." Violette said.

"That's good, I'm sure getting a different perspective then just her Dad's is good." Said Jason.

"Maybe," Said Nat quietly "Personally, I don't really want to think about everything my parents have gone though and done."

"Yeah, that's a good point."

Violette was trying to come up with something appropriate to say when Autumn came back in looking a little panicked. "Hey, I gotta go but we can text later." She said and hung up after Jason and Eva said goodbye.

"Okay, what's wrong?"

"I mean, I know this isn't the biggest deal going on right now, but Shadow's mom just showed up at their door randomly and she left an address and Shadow's thinking of going."

"Didn't their mom leave them when they were little?"

"Yeah, and Shadow also acts like they're not phased by it, but they are."

"So they're thinking of going to their Mom's"

"Yeah,"

"Why is that bad?"

"I don't know, cuz she might try to earn back custody of Shadow and I know Shadow acts like nothing can hurt them, but they're sensitive to their birth parents, I know that, and when their emotional they can be super, I don't know, irrational and do really stupid stuff. Honestly, I think the only reason they act so, not emotionless, but logical I guess is cuz they have me to deal with and that Remington raised them to be self sufficient, and I know Remington isn't that structured but it works for Shadow and what if, like, 'Dow's Mom uses that as a reason to get them and me and Remington never see them again and-"

"Autumn! You're rambling worse then Viola's Dad. Just calm and will be there for Shadow, no matter what happens or what stupid decision they make. Okay?"

Autumn gulped and nodded, trying to get her breath back.

"Okay, now it's like three a.m., we should go to bed and tomorrow we'll talk to Shadow, okay?"
