Trigger warning: KIDNAPPING,, discussion of murder, brain washing, drugging, and most of the stuff I warned you about in the beginning

In all honesty, Brendon enjoyed spending time with people in real life. He was something of an extrovert and was eternally grateful he was allowed social media, because he really didn't know what he would have done without Nat and Viola. So Brendon was really happy that Mama was going to be spending more time with him. And he was happy he was moving up in life and the corporation. Watching all his friends leave him one at a time in one way or another and only having real life interactions from seeing Mama during check-in's, people at the grocery store, a couple of 'co-workers' in and the people he brainwashed into joining for the past few years felt worth it now that he had been noticed by the Doctor Man himself!

The only thing he didn't like was the dirty work of actually getting the recruitments. Brendon didn't really like kidnapping people, even if brainwashing was the only thing he was good at and his entire life was dedicated to it (whether he wanted to or not). It was kinda like how no one wants to think about where hot dogs come from. Anyways, Brendon usually had Spencer or Dallon or Ryan S. grab someone from a field when he still had those people in his life. When they weren't there anymore he almost always made one of his latest recruits to catch another for him. He knew he could but by the time he saw most people when he brainwash them they were tied down and tired out from already panicked and probably drugged sort made it easier, knowing that soon they'd be happy and seeing those people living their normal lives that he can't ever live and completely ruin that for them was bit more tough on him then is was for Dallon or the Ryans. And Mama always said that was a good thing. The whole point of his role as a recruiter was make the corporation strong to protect people and make the world a better place. And if that means Brendon has to sacrifice his life or do things he was uncomfortable with the so be it.

Hence why Brendon had to ride a bike around a corner and stop right in front of a short man holding a briefcase that held something their enemies would use against them. The man didn't look like the apocalypse-plotting-anarchist type with his fedora and cardigan and the awkward smile he shot Brendon, but the again Brendon didn't look like the type that could make you abandon your family in favor work in a corporation that encourages those sorts of things. Well at least he didn't look the type until Brendon shot him his terrifying 'I could kill you with no remorse' smile (which was a complete lie, in fact Brendon was really glad he never had to kill anyone) and watched as Mama walked up behind him and zap him in the neck with a taser, knocking him out cold. The two of dumped the man into the backseat of the black van Mama had parked conveniently close. It wasn't until they had put him in the back with Brendon's bike hastily dumped on him and Mama was driving away at a unsuspecting speed did Brendon turn around and actually look at the man properly. And unconscious he look even less intimidating.

"Did he really think no one would notice him walking around with a briefcase handcuffed to him?"

Mama chuckled, "I know right? Complete idiot."
