Gerard wished he could do something to help his sprong, but there was nothing that could make it any better. He remembered when his parents died. For his dad it had been heart cancer. His mom it was a car wreck. Then his granny took him and Mikey in and basically killed them too. That innocent, child version of him and Mikey at least. He remembered how it was after his parents died, all of tears and anguish, but not how it was really. It had happened too long ago. He had to push all of his feelings aside to take care of Mikey. To give his baby brother some sliver of hope in the darkness that was their lives. But Gerard had no idea how to do that again. So he did what he was good at: being the leader of the Killjoys. So he called a meeting at his house. Mikey brought Viola and Jason, or Jason Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz the Third Toro Stumph as he decided his full name was going to be. Jenna and Ray brought Violette and Nat, and Violette had every intention of screaming that Jason initials would than be Plkw3ts in his face and refusing to call him anything else, but when she saw Lindsey sitting on the floor hugging Shadow, Brendon sobbing into Viola's shirt as Jason awkwardly rubbed his back, and Mikey sitting next to a dude with a shaved head and quietly talking to a muscular looking guy with red dyed hair, she decided that wouldn't be the best course of action.

"Josh?" Jenna asked when she spotted the red head.

"Jenna? Oh my goodness!" The two of them collided in a hug as Josh exclaimed "I thought Liseil would've killed you by now!"

"I thought they killed you so long ago," Jenna cried "I tried searching for you but someone from Liseil burned up all the records when they heard they Killjoys had revolted. If I had known you were still alive I would have-"

"It's okay Jen. It's okay." Josh said, trying to comfort her.

"I know," Jenna said, wiping her face and pulling away "Josh this is my husband, Ray and my kid, Nat," She said, gesturing them to come over. Ray did, shaking hands with a shocked looking Josh. Nat stood there awkwardly.

"You know this guy?" Violette whispered.

"I've heard about him," Nat said back "He's my Uncle."

"Damn, am I the only one not related to anyone in this fucking room?"

"Brendon!"

"Sorry, Ma, I'm just saying..."

Jason, Gerard, and Violette couldn't stop themselves from laughing out loud, and hesitantly Nat also joined in while Lindsey scowled at Brendon and especially Gerard for encouraging him by also laughing. Which just fueled the flames and everyone besides Tyler, Mikey, and Lindsey would be lying if they didn't admit they at least cracked a smile.

"Okay, okay, but enough of that. I think it would be more productive to discuss why Gerard called us all here," Mikey said, killing the mood. They relocated themselves to the dining room. Gerard sat down at the head of the table, Ray on his right and Mikey on his left. Like how they used to sit when they ate meals or planned to overtake a corrupt, abusive organization and killed officials of said organization ever since they were kids.

Shadow asked Mikey if they could sit next to him. They wanted to be closer to Gerard, whether it was because they wanted to be near the leader, or because they wanted to be near their parent, Mikey didn't ask, he just nodded and tried to ignore his déjà vu, as he remembered when Ayanna had a nightmare and King silently pleaded for Mikey to take calm her down. The next morning she had walked and quietly asked the same thing Shadow had. From then on, that had become her spot, tucked in between Mikey and King. Viola was now in King's spot, sitting next to Shadow. Jason sat on the other side of her, where King used to make Patrick sit so he could put his head on the younger boy's shoulder while he was still half-asleep during breakfast. Patrick had never once complained, just accepted his fate and dealt with Frank's (who sat across from him) teasing. Violette sat there now, with Lindsey to her left, where Sebastian used to sit and get ignored when him and his brothers stayed with them and not at some compound like they normally did. Nat sat on Violette's right and Jenna sat in between them and Ray. The four of them in a Toro-Iero line, like Ray, Joe, Andy, and Frank used to sit. Josh claimed the chair a space away from Jason in Kevin's chair, because sitting right next to the 14-year-old was weird. Brendon was the only one who didn't sit down. He just awkwardly stood by the wall.
