Olivia's POV:

Derek raised an eyebrow. "He covered you in gasoline?" He questioned as he flipped Parrish's hands over and over again. Parrish gave a small nod.

"It's the hair and nails, isn't it?" Lydia asked, glancing between Parrish and Derek. "The parts of the body that are essentially dead."

From what Lydia explained, she and Stiles stopped by to see the Sheriff and give him the rundown about what Lydia and I found out about Lorraine Martin possibly being alive. However, in the middle of explaining it, Parrish apparently had walked in with scorched-blackened skin as if he had been set on fire but somehow managed to survive.

Almost like he was fireproof.

One of the deputies, Haigh, had knocked out Parrish, tied him up inside the police cruiser and tried to set him ablaze by drenching him in gasoline before simply tossing a lighter inside the car.

This definitely showed that Parrish was something supernatural but Scott, Lydia, Allison, and I thought it was best to visit Derek to see if he would know anything.

"Well, they should be gone." Derek released his hands, holding onto his confused expression.

"I was set on fire," Parrish emphasized

"I was set on fire," Parrish emphasized. "All of me should be gone."

Scott shook his head. "Not if you're like us."

"Like you?" He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"I don't think he's like us." Derek shook his head.

Lydia raised an eyebrow. "Then what is he?"

"I mean, he could be like Olivia." Allison spoke up, practically avoiding eye-contact from me which caused me to recall our awkward conversation last night after she dropped me off.

On top of that, things were still weird between Lydia and me so when we all met up at Derek's loft, I made sure to stand in between Derek and Scott.

I look to Parrish. "Did you wake up in some sort of grey cement and had to break free?"

His eyes widen slightly. "Wait...what?"

"I'll take that as a no. You're not like me." I look to Derek. "Do you know what he is?"

"Sorry, but I have no idea."

"But you knew about Jackson and Kira." Scott tried to point out.

"I mean, he didn't know what I was." I gesture to myself. "From personal experience, the bestiary has thousands of creatures and I'm pretty sure no one has the time to memorize all of them."

"And this is a little out of my experience. There might be something in the bestiary." He looks over to Allison. "Did you try asking your dad?"

"When I went home last night he wasn't there. I don't know where he went." She crossed her arms.
