Olivia's POV:

"Liam, wait! Liam!"

Allison and I turn away from each other, watching as Liam stormed passed us to the double doors and shoved it open with Mason quickly following behind.

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Allison mumbled as we watch Liam charge towards a school bus where the lacrosse players from Devenford Prep were getting off of.

"Brett!" Liam shouted, catching some of the players attention that stepped out of the bus.

However, the tall and somewhat muscled pale figure with short, light brown hair stared down at Liam.

Literally, since he was practically a foot taller than him.

"We're finally on the same page about one thing." I mutter and quickly walk over to where Liam stood, hearing Allison's footsteps follow behind me.

"I just wanted to say," Liam gritted out, but then unexpectedly stuck out his hand that wasn't clutched on his backpack. "have a good game."

Brett looks behind at his teammates before bursting into laughter. "That's cute, Liam. Is that what they told you to say in anger management? Apologize and everything's fine? You demolished Coach's car." He remarked.

From where I stood, I could see Liam's body visibly tense. "I paid for it."

"Yeah," Brett scoffed. "you're going to pay for it. We're gonna break you in half out there. And it's going to be all your fault."

My eyes trail over to Liam's clenched hand, taking notice of the blood that dripped from his fist.

I immediately step forward and sling an arm around Liam's shoulder. "Well, hello there preppies!" I look up and down at Brett's frame. "Wait, do they call you guys preppies? Is that a thing or is it considered offensive?"

"I don't think people call them preppies." I hear Allison whisper.

"Oh, then I don't think it could be considered bad." I awkwardly laugh. "I have this cousin, Andrea, and she plays a sport—well, used to play since she broke her foot by—"

"Thanks Olivia," Stiles interrupted my rambles, pushing me back away from Brett so he could stand in front of him. "I don't think he wants to hear a storytime."

I crossed my arms with a pout. "I didn't even get to the good part."

"Sorry for that." Stiles laughed then gestured to his surroundings. "Welcome to our little public high school, prep students! How you doing? Stiles," He stuck his hand out for Brett to shake, but Brett didn't bother to move a muscle. "that's a firm handshake you got there."
