"She was pregnant?" William asked meekly.

I just nodded thinking how Britney had to go through all these.

"I'll fucking kill that bastard," William was fuming with such anger, showing me a new side of him.

"You won't do any such things," I said, scared that he would stick to his word.

"I had asked Britney to go to the police station with me, she said she will think about it tomorrow. You don't worry, I have all the evidence and everything."

William seemed to calm a bit when I told him that.

"Was she okay?”

"She said she was but I knew she was hurting."

William nodded before he looked at me tenderly.

"Thank you, Rose, for being there for Britney," he said while I kissed him. He kissed me back, we both battling for dominance until I gave in.

"I'll come back in a while," he said.

"Please, don't," I reasoned with him.

"Don't worry, I won't kill anyone," he chuckled and made his way to the front door.

"Will?"

"Yes, Flower?"

"Who is Britney to you?"

"A very special person," he said smiling a bit before vaporizing in thin air.

                            ☆☆☆

Was Britney his ex-girlfriend? I couldn't wrap my head around that one. I had called Mikayla and was just doing my chores when she came in.

This is it.

Mikayla will listen to this and break up with him.

"Hey, Mikkie."

"Hi," she smiled but that didn't quite reach up to her eyes.

"So what you wanna tell me?"

I took her to my room where I got us two sodas and some pop tarts. Mikayla seemed really on the edge and drank the soda in two gulps, a little falling down her chin to the sweatshirt she wore.

"Here," I said handing her a napkin.

She dabbed around her shirt and mouth area.

"This is serious Mikkie-"

I stopped when I saw something on Mikayla's face. I looked around and found a makeup remover.

"What are you doi-?"

"Who did this?" There was a huge bruise around her mouth that was turning into a gruesome purple-bluish shade. I was fuming thinking anyone would do that to Mikayla. She did a pretty good job in concealing it.

"Where, there's-"

"Bullshit, Mikkie that's not okay, just say already," I was yelling by that point.

Mikayla just looked at for some time before she broke into tears. I hugged her in attempts to soothe her.

"It-it was Elijah," she sniffed out.

No way.

"He w-was very pissed today, and when I told him I was leaving him, he didn't take it well."

"Is this the first time?" I waited for her to say it was. But she just shook her head while she cried.

"Did you tell Jaxon?" She just shook her head.
