The car roared to life as if bursting with excitement to be driven after so long. My hands were shaky but taking a deep breath, I put down on the accelerator, the car jolting forward. A smile tugged the corners of my face which caused me to feel jittered. I was blushing for no good reason. Or going out seemingly on a date with William was a good reason. Ugh.

William got in as I parked on the driveway. He rubbed down his palms against his jeans eyeing me afterward.

"Put on your seat belt," he said, putting on his own and huffing out a shaky breath.

"Don't worry, I drive decent."

I chuckled along while pushing down on a  button, the latter revealing the convertible as I drove down the street. The scenery blurred as the wind passed by blowing my hair in all directions.

"Your hair is long," William spoke eyeing my hair, ''quite the length, let me add.''

"I will cut it when I get time," I said reminding myself to set an appointment.

"Why? It's beautiful," he said, twirling a strand.

I peered at him doing the lone action which made it difficult to focus on the road, but I wasn't complaining. The thought of me crashing didn't sound too bad. Maybe I could join William and have a happily ever after. But a stern look from the scaredy-cat beside me made me re-focus on the road ahead.

"So, where to?"

"I will tell you," he replied, giving me directions as I drove.

The ride was getting tedious, so I decided to turn on the radio. James Arthur's 'Say you won't go' came along. It was one of my favorites and William seemed to know the song as well since he sang along with it from the middle bit. He had a really nice voice which urged the creep in me too. I couldn't hold it and sang along as we drove down the road.

'Then you smiled over your shoulder,
For a minute I was stone-cold sober
I pulled you closer to my chest.

And you asked me to stay over
I said, I already told you:
I think that you should get some rest.

I knew I loved you then but you never known
Cause I played it cool when I was scared of letting go

I know I needed you but I never showed.
But I wanna stay with you until we're grey and old

Just say you won't let go,
Just say you won't let go .'

"What a lovely, supernal voice you have, Rose," William spoke as he turned towards me, "How come I never knew you could sing so well."

I glanced at him with a crazy smile for his compliment but shrugged half haphazardly.

"Well, now you know,'' I added my signature cheeky smile while he kept his well-known staring contest.

We drove for about ten minutes before he pointed at a muddy side of the roadside that had free space. The road was barren at the end, with a few cars passing by and trees surrounding the landscape. It gave a soothing yet eerie vibe.

We got out after parking in free space, basking in the afternoon sun as William continued walking into the woods.

"What is this place?" I asked, impatient for walking for only two minutes.

"Well, princess got to wait," he said causing us both to snicker as we walked down the woods.

William stopped all of a sudden and turned towards me,
