I scream out in pain, 'There is no way I can shift out of this. My movements are too restricted.' I thought before idea to warp out hit me. 'Let's just hope I don't end up somewhere too far.' I thought as I grit my teett and try to focus I feel a heavy shock through my wings and loose my focus.

I scream out in pain again, this time so much louder that my throat started to hurt. 'Focus! Warp out of here quick!' I shout at myself in my head.

I force my eyes shut and focus on sinking into the shadows around me. I stopped getting the feeling of electric currents running through me from the poles and only felt the electricity that was left in my body. I shot open my eyes and see I'm next to a small koi pod that has a scorched notebook floating in it.

'Thats...odd..' I thought before my world went black.

I groan in pain, feeling sore as I slowly open my eyes. I see that i'm still by the koi pond from earlier, 'How...long was I out.' I thought. I look up to the sky and see it slowly turning from light blue to orange.

I hear muttering and footsteps heading my way and look towards the source. 'Shit...if i'm seen in a state like this...' I thought as the green haired boy got closer and closer, not noticing me.

I grit my teeth and shift into the easiest thing for me to do, a wolf. I felt my bones breaking and reforming as I shifted as fast as I could. I heard a gasp as I finished my shift. I turn to see the boy looking at me.

"Woah! Wolves..aren't common to see in this area..."

He said quietly, reaching a hand out to me carefully. I growled at him a nd he pulled it away. "Ah! S-Sorry, you...look hurt. If you want I can bring you to my home and get those wounds patched up!" He says before grabbing the notebook from the koi pond.

'I guess that's his notebook.' I thought. He sighed "My dreams have been turned into fish food." He says wiping off the notbook the best he can. He put his attention back to me, "C'mon buddy, lets get you to a safer place then here." He said with a small smile.

I gave him a small nod and stood up carefully 'I really don't have a choice. I'll die out here, either that or I'll get found by my parents.' I thought as I got up fully. "Just follow me, c'mon bud." He said leading me down the sidewalks and into a small tunnel space.

I stops for a second, looking lost in thought. The area started to smell of sewage and I heard rattling coming from the drain behind me. I turned towards and started growling. 'Oh hell no, this kid is my only hope right now. No way in hell am I letting anything happen.' I thought before a bunch of goo started to come out of the drain.
