Alice
The water doesn't seem to get hot enough to relax my tense muscles no matter how high I turn it up. I am exhausted from the lack of sleep last night and the frustration that comes from dealing with both of them.
There is a bouquet of roses at my door when I get back to my room. I watch around to find out who send this. But no one, just a bunch of people chatting and laughing with each other. I picked it up from the floor, there is a sorry note inside it. But no name on it. I unlock my door and walk inside, it took me a moment to realise that they were chatting and laughing at me. But I ignored it. I placed it on the table and walk to my almirah to take out my clothes and there is a knock, holding my towel tight around my body, I opened the door. I sigh when I notice another bouquet. I glance around, but again no one. I took it and place it beside the first one.
Within thirty-minute, my room is full of roses, filling the room completely with their fragrance. Wherever my eyes dart, there is a bouquet, on the floor, on my table even on my bed. I stood there, wondering who could it be. Luke? Or Dorian? I roll my eyes at the sight in front of me.
I need fresh air, I pull my trouser on with a white pullover. I walk outside. Since it's the weekend so no classes. I wonder where should I go, and then finally I come up with my final decision. I walk to the garden across block C, it's the farthest place here, that's why no one goes there. So, no disturbance. Some amusement giggle inside me when I reached there. I'm all alone here. No one is here. I walk a bit further before setting myself under the tree. I lean my back against it and took out my novel and open it from the bookmark. I continue my reading from where I left.
I don't know what the time is when I finished my book. I look up, and the sky is clear above me, realising how quiet it looks. It's beautiful. And I can spend my whole day here. And this is when my thoughts break from a voice. I turned and glanced up and it was Dorian, standing just a few feet away from me. How the hell did he find me?
"You look beautiful today," he says calmly and sits next to me
I roll my eyes and stood up on my feet. But he grabs my wrist and pulls me to sit again, but this time closer than before. "Let me go, Dorian," I say.
Before I pull on my feet again, he quickly lay on me, resting his head on my thighs. I blinked, this really surprises me. I watch him as he placed his one hand under the back of his head and grins at me "So you're still angry with me, right?"
"Leave! I'm not in the mood to talk" I snap, and tried to push him off me.
But he holds my hand into his and closed his eyes "Let me sleep for some time. I didn't sleep last night" he said and smile when I didn't say anything else.
I look away, waiting for him to leave. But it looks like he actually sleeps. I wave my hand in front of his closed eyes. No response. I scuff "He is actually sleeping while holding my hand" I groan under my breath.
When I glanced back at him again then noticed how perfect his face is. His breathing is slow and deep and it seems like he's sleeping peacefully after such a long time. I lean closer, and my eyes dart on his lips, reminding me of that day when he kissed me, telling me don't go on my lips and this increases my pulse so fast. He's so close to me and looking damn beautiful. I wish I remember him, then things will be different now. Me and he, maybe we had never separated.
I don't even realise when my lips touch his forehead. And his lips slightly stretch from the corner. He smiled. I shake my head and look away. 'Idiot' I curse myself.
His eyes flicker open and my breathing hitched, but I tried to control it and behave as if nothing happened. He looks up at me and while grinning he speaks "You wake me". His voice is raspier than ever from just being woken up.
