And just like that, everything goes back to normal, and a month goes by of Jungkook and I just being swept by work as we're preparing for the tour.
The tour.
Every time the word lingers in my mind, I feel a pang in a stomach. It'll go on for two months. Then back home for another month to prepare BTS' comeback, and then another three months on tour. In other words, that's almost half a year in foreign countries, far away from my family and friends.
Just the thought of it makes me pee my pants out of fear.
This might sound surprising coming from someone who wanted to embark on a travel program all on her own. However, during my travels, I would have been alone and learned a lot about myself. During this tour, I'll be around other people all the time, and most of these people I'm not friends with.
Don't get me wrong, while I genuinely feel comfortable around Jungkook, Jimin and other members these days, I'm still an introvert. And introverts need to spend some time alone sometimes to recharge their batteries. However, how do I tell that my colleagues without offending them? What if they expect me to play buddy buddy with them all the time?
