I'm posting rather long chapters these days, I hope you guys like that. Fun fact: Jungkook singing Pied Piper is what made me bias him.

...

Since Jungkook and I can't go to most touristy places, we end up browsing through some thrift stores and strolling through a small park while talking. Conversing with Jungkook like that makes me realize how rarely we get to do this: just talk and enjoy the moment without worrying about work or anything else occurring in the wide world right now.

After a while, I spot a small ice cream cart in the park and immediately turn to Jungkook with an enormous grin on my face. "I'll get us some." I don't need to ask if he wants ice cream because Jungkook never declines food. Granted, with all the physical activity that man does, he needs to eat.

He hands me his card, but I shake my head and take out my own wallet. "I'm paying. It's the least I can do."

Amused, my boss raises an eyebrow at me. "So let me get this straight, you're going to buy us ice cream with the salary that I pay you every month?"

Jokingly, I roll my eyes at him. "It's a symbolic gesture, oppa. Don't think too much about the practical details."

As a response to my words, his nose scrunches and a soft chuckle escapes his lips, causing the butterflies in my stomach to flip around once again. How incredibly beautiful he looks right now. "Alright, Rosie."

"You know", he tells me later on as we eat our ice cream on the bench, hidden from the people, "I'm surprised you wanted to get that ice cream."

Confused, I catch his gaze. "Huh? Why?"

"If you hadn't given me that ice cream the other day, Jin would have never challenged you to the contest and you wouldn't have to come to work out with me."

I groan at the extremely embarrassing memory. "Don't remind me of that, please."

"Come on Rosie, it's just one workout," he laughs.

"Yes, but I know you," I whine. "You're going to make me suffer. Besides, it's just not about the workout."

Intrigued, Jungkook asks: "What was it about, then?"

"Everyone was so certain Jin would win. Even you."

He's silent for a while after this, probably carefully thinking over his next words. "Well, yes. But Jin hyung was right about one thing, time does make a difference. He's seen me grow up. Actually, he's helped me grow up. The two of you just can't compare. However," he quickly carries on as he notices how I'm trying my hardest to not appear offended, "you answered a lot more questions correctly than I ever would have thought. It was really touching, Rose-ah. It made me feel really thankful to have so many caring people in my life. And it also made me feel a little guilty."

I frown. "Why would it make you feel guilty?"

"You know so much about me and yet I know nothing about you."

I laugh awkwardly, scratching my neck. "There's nothing interesting to know about me, oppa."

His eyes glide over my face, and for a while, I can't hear anything besides the wind dancing around our ears and the quiet rustling of the leaves. Then, he softly says: "I highly doubt that."

I roll my eyes in an attempt of hiding the blush creeping up my cheeks. "What do you want to know, then?"

"Let's start easy. What's your favorite color? Or hold on, I know that one. Blue."

"No!", I immediately react. "Only light blue. Dark blue is yucky."

"You're so strange, Rose."
