Accidentally Assisting

Author's Note

Dear Readers, 

So, that's it. Accidentally Assisting is finished.  

I thought of the ending last April, so finally, putting all the thoughts in my head into words was extremely satisfying. 

In my humble opinion, there are too many stories on Wattpad which encourage toxic relationships. Rose's and Jungkook's relationship is DEFINITELY toxic for 80 % of the story. However, they grow as humans and lovers, which I wanted to portray in my ending chapters. Therefore, at the end of the story, Jungkook and Rose are NOT bad for each other anymore. 

The point I'm trying to make here is that we need to stop perceiving human relationships as something black or white, as either toxic or healthy. There are so many factors coming into play when we care and love other humans. If you have toxic friendships/ relationships in your life, that's completely okay. Just make sure to recognize them and handle them accordingly. 

For a little bit of context concerning me, I used to write consistently on my old Wattpad account through my time in high school and stopped when I got to college due to time issues. Ever since I finished high school, I'd been feeling a little lost, and it took me a long time to realize that this due to my lack of writing. Even if it might just be this simple fanfiction, writing again has given me a reliable structure in my life and rebuilt my inner peace. So I want to thank you, dear readers, to help me on that path to myself again. 

Originally, I thought it would take me 2-3 months to write this story. As you're all aware, it took me 8 months and therefore the whole time since Corona started. This has helped me keep sane during this weird time in life. It also showed me that I could simply not write short stories. I'm proud of this book that I mainly started as a distraction. 

As you were probably able to tell, the last 8 chapters are unedited. I will come back a bit later to that. 

On other news, HAPPY COMEBACK DAY! Currently listening to BE while writing this. I'm in love, that's all I can say for now. :)
