I await the lunch break with nervous anticipation, regretting my loose tongue from yesterday evening. What was I thinking? Of course, Jin knows Jungkook a lot better than I do. Just because I was right about the chocolate doesn't mean I was right about everything. I will be demolished.

"Well, look it is," Jin greets me with a sarcastic smile as I'm peacefully eating my noodles, "our future loser."

I snort. "Don't be too confident, oppa." Even though I lowkey agree with Jin – there's no way I'll win-, I won't show him that. Besides, I won't go down without a fight.

"Rosie," Jungkook, who's sitting next to me, says quietly so only I can hear him, "if you do lose, don't take it too personally, okay? It's just a contest."

"Thanks for believing me," I retort, only partly kidding.

"I wasn't implying you'll lose-"

Jin cuts my boss off while clasping his hands together evilly. He looks like a Disney villain. (A very handsome one, though.) "Shall we start?"

"Start with what?" Jimin, who overheard us, asks curiously while sucking on a lollipop.

"We're doing a contest," Jin explains to him. "Whoever can answer the most questions about Jungkook wins."

"Wow," Taehyung says, "you really are the main character of your life, Jungkook-ah."

Jungkook frowns at this while everyone else stares at Taehyung, confused. "What's that supposed to mean?"

His friend swats his question away with his hand, shaking his head. "Nothing. It was a... it was a Tik Tok reference."

Namjoon appears next to him, frowning. "Aren't you a little too old for that app?"

Why is everyone suddenly paying attention to us? This whole contest would have been less nerve-wracking if it had been Jin, Jungkook, and me, as planned. Why doesn't anything ever turn out as planned?

Taehyung's eyes widen at his leader's judgemental question. "What's that supposed to mean? Rose uses it as well, don't you, Rose-ah?"

I blush as everyone's eyes suddenly lay on me. "Well, yes."

"That's different," Jungkook defends me. "Rose is Gen Z, she's allowed to use it. By the way," he narrows his eyes at me, "where do you find the time to be on it? You always complain to me that I keep you too busy for any leisure activities."

And here I thought he was on my side. My hands rest on my hips as I answer. "First of all, I never complained to you, I only raised awareness about certain issues I was having, which is not the same. Second of all, I'm a pro at time management. Third of all, Tae oppa is also Gen Z since it starts with people born in 95." Then, ignoring Jungkook's who's rolling his eyes at me, I offer Taehyung a smile. "Congrats, oppa, you made it to the best generation instead of becoming a whiny millennial."

"Thank you, Rose," he grins.

"Hey!", Jin cuts in, "I'm not whiny!"

Namjoon blinks awkwardly, scratching his neck. "Sorry to break it to you, hyung, but that's literally all you do."

"This is offensive," Jin huffs, crossing his arms. "I hate it here."

The makeup-artist Somi and the stylist Minha come stand next to me. I told them about the contest yesterday and they promised they'd support me.

"We should all unite," Somi suggested as we gossiped over some ramyun in my hotel room.

"Exactly," Minha added. "These men took our social life by behaving so freaking difficult all the time. It's time to get revenge."
