Chapter Eight
Two updated in one day-phew, I'm on a roll :D
“Hey,” I greeted Sofia.
She raised an eyebrow. “Something tells me that something is wrong. Spill it.”
I sighed. Should I tell her? She was my best friend after all...or stuff it- I was telling her!
“I-I-I...you know how Ethan held that party yesterday?” I asked her, as we trudged towards the lockers.
She nodded, eagerly. “The one I desperately wanted to attend? Yep, keep going.”
I sighed again, running a hand through my hair. “I caught Ethan cheating on Harmony. He was drunk and doing some bimbo. What’s worse was that after I yelled at him, I told Harmony right...and then we passed by his room-and he’d continued to do that sl*t!”
Sofia’s jaw dropped open. “N-No way!”
I frowned. “Unfortunately, yes way.”
Sofia exhaled. “Well...my secret love for him has gone out the window!”
Sofia and Harmony were good friends-and Sofia really looked up to Harmony as well.
I shrugged. “I’m avoiding him now. He deserves it.”
Sofia frowned. ‘That total idiot! He was so lucky to have a great girlfriend like Harmony...and he just screwed it all up!”
I exhaled, loudly. “Let’s just hope Sofia forgives him and he never does it again!”
She nodded, agreeing. “Uh-huh.’

“HURRY YOUR ASS UP, LIAM!’ I yelled, from the front seat of my car.
He hurried out. “Geez, coming.”
He slid next to me, into the front passenger seat. “You are so impatient.”
I rolled my eyes. “Hey, you are LUCKY I’m willing to drive you to your stupid ice hockey practice!”
Liam smirked, leaning over, and giving me a sloppy, wet kiss. “Yes, I am very lucky.’
“Oh, gross Liam!” I squealed, wiping off his disgusting drool.
He grinned at me. I glared back.
I quickly reached the stadium where he practised. I decided to sit in the bleachers while waiting for him.
“Go knock yourself out, little bruv,” I muttered to him, as he headed for the change rooms and I headed up to the bleachers.
I quickly selected a top row seat, and flopped down, examining the place.
There were a few girls clumped at the front-eyeing all the guys coming out to the rink. I rolled my eyes. No one else was sitting on the bleachers except for them and me.
Great.
Sighing, I pulled out my iPhone, and checked for any new messages. Nil.
By then, all the guys had skated out onto the rink. Liam studied the bleachers for me.
When he spotted me, he winked.
“OMG, that hot guy with the blonde hair winked at me!” squealed one of the girls.
‘NO, he winked at ME!” screeched another.
“Ugh you wannabes, he winked at ME!” snapped the last girl.
I rolled my eyes. Hypocrite.
After watching them practise for a bit, I got bored and started to play Temple Run on my iPhone. Man, the game was so addicting!
I was just about to hit one million (yeah, I’m pretty good)-when a felt someone tap my shoulder. I jumped in fright, dropping my iPhone in the process.
It landed on the concrete.
“CRAP!” I swore, quickly picking it up.
I checked for any damages. Phew! The screen only had a tiny, not really visible crack in the corner.
I whirled around to face the person. Oh fantastic.
It was Troy. The last person I wanted to see.
“Oh, it’s you,’ I said, bitterly.
He flopped down next to me-much to my disappointment. I groaned, and glanced back down at my iPhone.
“What are you doing here?” I finally asked, icily.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw him shrugging.
“Meh, got nothing else to do,” he answered.
“What, sucking sl*ts’ faces off finally got too boring?” I laughed, coldly.
He raised an eyebrow. “What...wish you were one of them?”
I quickly glanced up to meet his gaze. “What? No! I never said that!’
He chuckled. “Ha, you should’ve seen your face! Priceless!”
I gritted my teeth. How could someone be this hateful? I just wanted to punch him square in the face!
“Get lost, Kruger,” I hissed.
Suddenly, he was inches away from me. I could feel his warm breath tickling my skin. I strained myself from shivering.
“You sure you want me to get lost?” he whispered, looking at me with his huge hazel eyes.
I gulped. “O-Of course!”
He raised an eyebrow, smirking. “Really?”
I let out a frustrated sigh. “UGH! Yes-I do! Happy?”
Suddenly, his lips were on mine! I stood there, frozen. But...surprisingly...it kinda felt good.
It felt like his lips were meant to be on mine. Wait...what the hell?
And wait...we were kissing! Crap!
He pulled away before I could, smirking. “See ya, sweetie.’
With that, he sauntered off, winking at the three girls along the way.
I just stood there, frozen to my spot.
Troy Kruger had just stolen my first kiss! Oh.....crap.
And not only that...but I hated to admit it....but I’d enjoyed that!
I stood there, feeling a mix of emotions.
