◘Troy◘

I nearly ripped out a strand of hair. What the hell is wrong with me? Why did I freakin’ blow up at Adrianna like that? Why did I freaking have such a big mouth? Now I’ve messed up our relationship-and she’s kidnapped.

Way to go Troy, I thought unhappily.

I’d checked every place I knew. EVERY place. And I couldn’t find her.

I mooched around the streets, keeping my head down, feeling really miserable. This is all your goddamn fault Troy, I cursed myself silently. All your goddamn fault.

“Hey dude!”

I whipped around, to face some skinny guy with short scruffy blonde hair and blue eyes. Did I even know him? I raised an eyebrow, shoving my hands into my pockets.

“Do I know you?” I asked, bluntly.

The guy sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I’m Julian, Adrianna’s friend.”

At the phrase ‘Adrianna’s friend’, my chest immediately tightened. She had a friend that was a boy? I immediately narrowed my eyes at him.

“Yeah, what?” I snapped.

“Erm, you’re Troy Kruger yeah? Her boyfriend?” he asked, nervously.

My chest constricted when he mentioned ‘her boyfriend’. No, we were exes. All because of goddamn stupid me. I gritted my teeth, and clenched my fists.

I cleared my throat. “Uh yeah.’

He nodded. “So uh...any news about Ade?”

I exhaled, loudly. ‘No news. No freaking goddamn news!”

“Whoa dude, calm down,” Julian cried, his eyes widening, just before I was about to kick a random nearby trash can down. “Look, we’ll find her. I’ve called the police and lodged a Missing Person’s case-alright? Everyone’s looking for her, man.”

“Don’t you dare man me,” I growled.

Yep, I was angry. Angry at myself. Angry at whoever kidnapped Adrianna. Angry at the place where Adrianna was staying. Angry at this world. Angry at the universe. Angry that this stupid trash can was standing here!

I gave the trash can a huge, swift, angry kick, and stormed off, angrily.

Luckily the weird Julian kid didn’t follow me. I swear if he had, I would’ve punched him in the face. I was bloody angry at everything I saw. I was so frustrated that I hadn’t found her yet. The only thing that would’ve cooled me down would be catching a glimpse of Adrianna’s beautiful face.

“Okay gang, a check-up, any updates?” Mr Hall asked, as we gathered in the kitchen, a Coke Zero in my hand to cool me down.
