So basically, I lay in the bed the whole weekend, texting Troy and all my friends, talking to Audrey and Harmony who took my dinner, lunch and breakfast up since I refused to go down. I kinda felt sorry for them, since they were messengers. Oh well....

In case you haven’t already realised, Harmony and Audrey practically live here. Which is good. I swear, if they didn’t...my life...would be in ruins. Literally.

I smiled. Why did he think it was his fault? Aw, he was just too sweet. Oh yeah, my life would be in ruins without him or Sofia either.

Troy, do not blame yourself, young man. It’s my stupid, stubborn Dad and my brothers.

I pressed SEND and flopped back on my bed. I gazed up at the ceiling, sighing. When did my life become so freakin’ complicated? Beats me.

Suddenly, my room door flung open. Dad and my brothers burst in, overwhelming me, and intimidating me a little. I backed up against my wall.

“Um....,” I trailed off, clutching my phone.

“Honey...we’ve been discussing things,” Dad told me, carefully. “Okay. We decided that you may date Troy Kruger-

“YES!” I squealed.

“-After we meet him,” Dad finished off.

I slumped. “What do you mean...meeting him? Like dinner?”

‘Great idea!” Dad said, enthusiastically.

Oh great. I’ve heard all those books when Dads give their daughter’s boyfriend the LECTURE. And knowing my brothers, Troy will probably get FIVE lectures. Excellent.

I groaned, but nodded. “Okay. Fine. Tomorrow night at 7.30 for dinner?”

Dad nodded. ‘Yes. After the dinner, we will decided if he’s worthy enough for you, my precious Adrianna. And we are sorry for misjudging Troy and jumping to conclusions. We all are.”

My brothers nodded, solemnly. I giggled. It was kinda funny to see them nodding, synchronised.

“It’s fine,” I shrugged, smiling.

One by one, they came up to hug me. Then they left me in peace. I chewed my lip, and clicked on Troy’s name in my phone.

Hey Troy...my family just came in. They’re inviting you over for dinner tomorrow night at 7:30. After the dinner, they will decide if your worthy enough for me. Sounds like we’re some royal family, and I’m about to be a queen, and finding a king. Geez. Sorry to put you under this pressure Troy.

Then, I had a idea.

Hey, meet up at Icecream Paradise tomorrow morning. I’ll bring along Harmony. She’s the world best at this kinda stuff. She’ll give you tips on how to impress my family. Trust me, she knows EVERYTHING about my family. Okay?

I grinned, and rushed to Harmony, telling her about my plans.
