Outburst

Whenever you're feeling your utmost best, it would be hard for you to notice how time flies so quickly. It's been a month and it's almost the start of another school year.

"Here, drink it." sabi ni Deonell at inilahad ang dalang water bottle.

I protruded my lips to prevent myself from smiling widely. "Thanks!"

We are still doing some morning jogs at nasanay na ako. In fact, I am now fond of exercising. Naninibago na nga ako kapag hindi ako nakakapag-exercise sa isang araw. Hindi na sumasama sa amin si Audy dahil busy na siya kaka-review. She told me she needs to prepare and study for her upcoming college life.

How crazy is that? Summer na summer, nag-sta-study siya? Well, smart people and their study habits.

While my Velez Family are away for their family vacation a month ago, I was stuck in the house doing nothing. My Mom is busy travelling on her own, my Dad can't visit me since it's still not his schedule yet. Tita Belle wanted me to join them as they go to Paris for a Fashion Week but I find it boring.

Tita Amber invited me to join their vacation as well. I heard that it's somewhere in Madrid. But for some reasons, hindi makakasama si Audy. She's too caught up in studying. And of course, I don't want to go if she's not willing to go. Deonell was also invited but he declined maybe after knowing that Audy doesn't want to come.

Kaya naman, magkasama kaming dalawa at kaka-tapos lang sa jogging session namin ngayong araw.

"Thank you." saad ko muli at ibinalik ang dalang water bottle niya nang matapos na akong uminom ng tubig.

Wearing a gray t-shirt and black jagger pants, he accepted his water bottle back. Ang puting jacket na suot kanina ay nasa mga braso niya na ngayon. Nandito kami sa labas ng Pavilion at nagpapahinga sandali. We jogged around Forbes North thrice kaya sobrang napagod ako.

There were benches outside kaya doon kami umupo dalawa. I can hear my heavy breathing pero siya ay parang wala lang. He really is used to such strenuous exercise.

I gave him a sideward glance while he's wiping his sweats using his face towel.

I can now assure myself that I am forgiven already kahit hindi pa niya 'yon sinasabi. I am now comfortable with him pero may mga panahon pa rin na na-co-conscious ako tuwing nandiyan siya. I am always killing the time at Audy's house every afternoon kaya nakakapag-usap 'din kami.

"Let's head back?" aniya, umuna na sa pagtayo.

Tumango ako at tumayo na rin. Malapit ng mag alas siyete ng umaga ngayon. Kahit medyo maaga pa pero nakakasakit na ang araw. Hindi naman naiinitan ang mga braso ko dahil may suot akong jacket maliban nalang sa mukha ko.

The sun's light was facing to our direction while we were walking beside the road. Panay ang pag-block ko sa sinag gamit ang mga kamay.

"Einra, let's stop first." pigil niya sa'kin sa paglalakad, with his husky voice.

"Huh?" kumunot ang noo ko at binalingan siya ng tingin.

Hindi niya ako sinagot. Instead, he reached out for his jacket that was just hanging on his right shoulder bago humakbang at mas lalong lumapit sa'kin. Bahagya pa akong nagulat dahil sobrang lapit niya. I then noticed our height differences at namangha na naman ako.

He placed his jacket on the top of my head bago siya umatras. He licked his lips at ako naman ay hiyang-hiya, buti nalang at sanay na ako kaya hindi na ako namumula ngayon.
