Preface
Luke's POV
I was sitting back, watching Ashton's football practice from the bleachers. We had agreed to go and get pizza with him and a few other of our friends, but after all of them had got out of practice. Which was usual, I didn't play a sport but I often sat watching Ashton's practices drone on. After all, he was the captain and you have to support your best friend.
Humbug.
I was watching and I glanced to my right to see a bright red glowing head of hair coming from the right of me.
"Well if it isn't Michael Clifford." I smiled, standing up from my position I walked over and sat next him while he just eyed me, turning the screen of his DS so I couldn't see it.
"What do you want?" He snarled. I was a little taken back by his harsh tone but nevertheless.
"I just wanted to chat a little. Y'know, I get bored watching Ashton practice all day." I shrugged.
"Well maybe you should stop going to see your friend practice." Michael said, as he continued to eye me up and down.
"Why are you being so hostile towards me?" I whined. "C'mon be friendly! You don't make friends being a jerk to people."
"And I also don't make friends with someone like you." Michael spat and stood up and walked down the bleachers.
"What's wrong with me..?"

Okay so literally I am a huge geek and if any of you remember Nerd-Alert this is basically like a twist on that. Except with gaming geeks instead of really smart nerds :3 and the roles are switched cause I would be a sinner if Michael was not the gamer in this book. Also, games that are mentioned in the book I have no ownership too, but they are indeed real games, like ninety-five percent of the time. Anyways, I am really excited for this!
