"Nothing from Scott and Kira." I say, showing my phone to Malia and Stiles as we quickly went under the pavilion since the rain was close to drenching us.
"And nothing from Lydia and Allison either." Stiles sighed out, shoving his phone back in his pocket.
"I still don't know if I passed." Malia added, showing her phone as well. "I don't want to do this unless I'm actually a senior."
"Yeah," Stiles muttered, staring off at the students meeting up with their friends.
I turn to Malia. "Don't stress about it. You've been working your ass off for it and it'd be stupid if they didn't let you pass." I tried to assure but she intently stared at Stiles. "Malia?"
She took a couple of steps closer to him and I hear her sniff which causes Stiles to quickly turn around to face her. "Huh?"
"What's wrong with you? You smell terrible." She asked and I walk closer to the two with my arms crossed. "Olivia, I can smell your nerves from here."
My eyes widen slightly. "What? I'm not nervous!" Stiles and Malia both give me a look. "Okay, I'm nervous but it's stupid."
"Can't be worse than my anxiety." Stiles crossed his arms. "What's up?"
"I guess...I don't know what to say when I see Allison." I fiddle with my fingers. "I haven't talked to her since we finished junior year."
"So you ended up making up with Lydia after that weird almost-kiss thing?" Malia asked and Stiles' eyes widen.
"Wait, you did what?"
"Malia!" I scold. "I told you and Kira that it was supposed to stay between us three."
"Well did you?" She asked again and I pinch the bridge of my nose in annoyance.
"We did. We decided that we were stressed about the deadpool and we weren't thinking straight." I say and look to Stiles. "Now that my secret's out, what's wrong with you?"
"Yeah, why's this thing so important to you?" Malia added.

"It's not. It's uh..." I raise an eyebrow and he lets out a sigh. "Maybe it is. I asked my dad the other day about his high school friends. Guess how many he still talks to? None. Not a single one. You know, these were his best friends and he just says he lost touch with them, you know, so I started thinking about things like I always do."
"Obsessively?" Malia asked.
He nodded. "Yeah. So, I'm thinking what if...what if Scott's my best friend now, but you know, he's not my best friend for life?"
"Doesn't that just happen sometimes?"
"Yeah, but only because we let it happen. You know, that's what I'm saying. How come when we graduate we're just expected to go our separate ways?" He exasperated. "If I've already found the best people in my life, why aren't I not trying to stay with them, you know?"
