A/N: no pictures again :/ sorry !!

Olivia's POV:

As I walked closer to my house, I took notice of my dad's car parked in front of the mailbox which caused the pit of my stomach to stir. He must've found out about Phoebe.

I pull out my keys and hesitantly unlock the door before I push it open, seeing my dad wear a look of despair as pinched the bridge of his nose. He was sitting on the couch with an empty shot glass in his hand and a medium-sized bottle of liquor on the table beside him.

There was practically half of it left.

I shut the door behind me but he didn't bother to spare a glance my way. "Dad?" I softly spoke as I nervously took a seat beside him. "Did mom tell you everything?"

"Not all of it." He let out a sigh as he rubbed his temples. "but enough to know that Beacon Hills definitely isn't normal and Phoebe was caught in the middle of it." He poured himself another glass before downing the shot.

"Dad...I-I don't blame you if you hate me for getting Phoebe involved and for what I am," I fiddle with my fingers nervously. "but I want you to know that I'm so so sorry. I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you the truth and I'm ashamed that I didn't tell you sooner. From my selfish mistake, you could've took Phoebe away from here and she would've still been alive. I tried so hard to keep her away but she refused to sit on the side and insisted on helping us." I sob, not bothering to wipe the tears that streamed down my eyes but I bring my knees closer to my body. "I'll understand if you want to leave town. You shouldn't feel obligated to stay here and deal with my mess just so--"

He instantly wraps his arms around my body, pulling me into a tight hug which caused my eyes to widen. "It's not your fault."

"What?" I shake my head frantically. "How could you say that? You're supposed to be furious at me! You should want to skip town after what I did!"

"Phoebe wasn't your fault, Olivia. It was those scientists, whatever their names are. There was nothing you could do." He softly answered as he rubbed circles around my back. "I could never feel obligated to stay here. I want to stay here with you, Phoebe, and your mom. With my family." He emphasized and I let out another sob, finally wrapping my arms around him as well. "I'm sticking to my word about never making that same mistake again. I'm not leaving, no matter how bad things get. Knowing Phoebe, she would say the same. "

"But I'm a monster."

He pulled away, giving me a stern expression. "You're a phoenix." He corrected. "You're still my daughter."

I pull him into a hug again. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Suddenly, knocks on the door cause us to pull away which earns a look of confusion to form on my dad's expression. "Were you expecting someone?"

I shake my head. "No, were you?" He shook his head as well and I cautiously stand up from the couch. I wipe the tears away from my eyes as I walked to the door and looked through the peephole, seeing two people I never expected.

I open the door and crossed my arms with a questioning expression. "Hey."

"Hi Olivia." Mason grinned as Liam awkwardly looked around the neighborhood with a piece of paper in his hands. "I know this is sort of random and I understand that you're still grieving over Phoebe, so Liam and I wanted to visit to see how you were doing." He explained.

I raised a brow. "Really?" I questioned, taking note of his nervous expression. "That's all you came for?"

"Well..." He trailed off and looked to Liam, nudging him forward with is arm. "we sort of need your help."
