Olivia's POV:
"I know what happened to Donovan." Theo spoke up and instantly my hands clench into fists "I know everything—"
I stormed over to Theo before grabbing him by the top of his shirt and slammed his back against the fence that was around the generator. "You don't know shit so I suggest you keep your mouth shut." I glare, feeling my eyes flash orange.
Theo then grabs the collar of my shirt, switching our positions so my back would slam on the fence. "Careful what you say, Olivia. Wouldn't want your inner phoenix to lash out and hurt someone enough where they were close to death again." He remarked. "I was there. I was at the library. Malia found the book. She was texting us to see where he was. She said she left him at the library and I told her I was close so when I got there, I heard the scaffolding come down."
"You saw him?" I question, seeing if his story would align with Stiles' version of the story.
"Just the body." Theo answered. I pull my hands away from him as he does the same before turning to face me. "I watched Stiles come out. I was gonna say something but then I saw the cop car." He pauses for a moment to look at the ground before looking back up. "And the body was gone. I don't know who took him. I only say what he saw, and I didn't say anything because you and Stiles didn't. You don't want Scott to find out, right?"
I glare. "Is that a threat?"
"Take it however you want. I'm just making sure you know what would happen to our friend group. You know there would be a divide."
As much as I hated to admit it...he was right. I can't do that to Stiles. He was so persistent in keeping us together but just because of the incident at the library, it was practically threatening his friendship with Scott.
"Fine."
The sounds of sirens wailed in the distance which causes us to turn. "That's not an ambulance, is it?"
"If I know my dad well enough, he would make sure to come if the call comes from the hospital or the school." I mutter.
"We should get out of here." Theo says but I shake my head as I walked over to the boy's body.
"We can't just leave him." I argued.
"Fine. All right, let's take him. Someone's stealing the bodies anyway, right?" Theo reminded. "Here's our chance to find out who. Olivia, come on. We gotta do something."
I scoffed. "We? I'm not the one who murdered him. You killed him."
"In self-defense." He emphasized with a glare. "You were the one who practically scorched his throat and led him to his demise anyway. He was going to kill you, me, and Stiles. If we stay, we're either going to have to tell the truth or we're going to need a pretty convincing story. It's your choice."
