After bidding my goodbyes to everyone else, I decided to pay a visit to Tracy at her place since she didn't have the energy to come to senior scribe.
I mean...hopefully Phoebe can cover for me.
I sneakily walk over to the side of Tracy's bedroom window and tap on it a few times, waiting until I heard the latch to the window click open.
The lamp to her room turns on and not too long after Tracy's head pops up, a look of relief washing over her expression before lifting open the window enough for me to go inside. "What are you doing here? It's late!" She whispered as I carefully climbed through.
"Senior scribe just finished." I whisper back and shut the window, tightening the latch so it would stay shut.
"So instead of going home, you decided to come here when it's pouring outside?" She crossed her arms. "Why?"

I shrug. "Isn't it obvious? I wanted to see you." I say and despite the fact it was still dark, I could see her cheeks flush. My eyes trail over to the chair in the middle of the room which causes me to furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "As much as it's fun teasing you, did I wake you up?"
She shook her head. "No, but..." She uncomfortably crossed her arms as she walked over to sit on the bench that was at the end of her bed.
I sit down beside her. "Was it another nightmare?"
"I don't even know if they're called nightmares at this point." She mumbled as she nervously looked behind me before meeting my eyes. "It feels like they're night terrors."
"Parasomnia?" She simply nodded and I reach over, interlacing my hand with hers. "Want to talk about it?"
"You might think I'm crazy." She mumbled but I squeeze her hand in reassurance for her to continue.
"Trust me, I've seen and dealt with things that pretty much scarred me for life." I halfheartedly joke in an attempt to ease her nerves. "So lay it on me."
I hadn't told Tracy about the supernatural world since I felt like her nightmares would worsen and knew the rest of my friends would be pissed off if I told the secret to someone they didn't even know about.
Also, I couldn't exactly casually bring up that the girl she's talking to can light up on fire whenever she wants. This was the first person that was oblivious to what really lied in Beacon Hills.
I guess you could say it was selfish of me to hide it from her.
"From what I remember, it started off with this...crow tapping its beak on the skylight. I thought it was normal but then at the window you just climbed through," She pointed behind me and I briefly glance at it before turning back to her. "I saw a man but he had this helmet on."
"What did he look like?"
"Red goggles, brass helmet, had small tubes that were coming out of the sides." She fiddled with our fingers nervously. "I couldn't really see it since it was raining."
