A/n: sorry for the delay! Enjoy! :)

Olivia's POV:

"Scott's at the library?" I ask once Theo pulled into the school parking lot and we both quickly got out of his truck.

"Yeah, he just texted me saying he was with Lydia. The wendigo came out of nowhere and almost killed her." He explained as we ran to the library. "Last I heard he chased it inside but I'll check around to see if it snuck away." He says and I nod before we split off.

I pull open the doors and see Scott barely walk out from one of the book aisles with his brows furrowed. "You're okay!" I say as I quickly ran inside, causing him to look towards me. "Did the wendigo get away? Where's Lydia?"

"What wendigo?" He asked with confusion. "Lydia texted me to meet her here. She thought she had a lead about Parrish."

"Wait what? Theo just told me that there was an attack."

"I might've lied." Scott and I turn around to see Theo barely finish placing the completed line of mountain ash near the entrance behind him. "About a couple of things, actually."

"That's not possible

"That's not possible." Scott said as he pointed to the black powder on the floor.

"You're right. A werewolf shouldn't even be able to touch mountain ash." Theo smirked.

That's when it hit me. "You're a Chimera." I glared.

"I'm the first Chimera." He corrected. "It's the coyote part you don't notice. It's why Malia trusted me first, even though she probably didn't know it." He continued as he took a step back. "You found the perfect word though, Scott, because a Chimera isn't just a monster with different parts. It can also mean something impossible to achieve. An unrealizable dream."

"And they realized you?" Scott whispered, taking a step closer to him.

"They came close with me." He shrugged. "But we all can't be perfect. We can't all be true alphas."

Scott immediately sprints forward to attack but Theo easily steps out of the mountain ash, causing Scott's body to crash against the tables once he made contact with the barrier.

"Damn, I felt that." Theo chuckled which caused me to glare.

I flick my wrist and blast a surge of flames towards him, but the fire instantly stops at the barrier. "What the?" I stop the blast from my hand and see the amused expression on Theo's face.

"Come on Olivia, I thought you were smarter than that." He called out before he walked outside to the bench, flipping the switch to one of the cellphone jammers that was placed on top. "No calls, guys. No Stiles, no Malia, no Lydia, no Allison. You're just going to have to wait here alone for what happens next."

"What do you mean?" I angrily demanded.

"The supermoon."
