A/N~ I'm back!!! Today's update is a little bit different bc instead of a Q&A, I had this idea of Percy making blue cookies while doing an Instagram livestream :) This was inspired by the amazing artwork above by Viria~ Anyways enjoy!
P.S: Italics are comments on the livestream.
The livestream starts.
Percy's face fills the screen. He slowly backs away from the camera, showcasing his apron embroidered with the words 'Baked With Love'.
Percy: Hello? Guys? Is this working?
He laughs nervously.
Percy: This is my first time doing this, so I don't really know how this works.
The viewer count starts rising, going from 2 to 130 in under a minute.
Percy: Oh! Wow! Guess it's working, then. So... today we're making blue cookies. It's a family recipe. My mom passed it down to me.
Grover_notasatyr: Can I have the recipe?
Percy: Well, yes, BUT I can't tell you what the secret ingredient is. You'll have to work that out yourself. It's still delicious without it, though, the secret ingredient just gives it a little more of a... spark.
Thaliathetree: Nice apron ;)
Percy's blushes furiously.
Percy: It's Annabeth's fault, okay? She got it for me. And it's not like I wear it all the time.
Annabeth, from the living room: HE LOVES HIS APRON AND THAT'S A FACT!
Percy, flustered: I do NOT! I mean, I DO, because you got it for me, but-
Percy: ANYWAY, moving on.
He picks up a packet of flour and starts pouring it into a bowl.
Percy: First, you measure out exactly 186 g of flour, which is one and a half cups. I recommend using an electronic scale to measure because it's easier, but a normal one works fine too.
Hazel_Levesque: Dear Percy, is there a specific type of flour we should use? I am writing down this recipe for future use, and I would like to get everything correct. Love, Hazel.
Percy: All-purpose flour is fine.
Hazel_Levesque: Dear Percy, thanks. Love, Hazel.
Percy: You're welcome.
Percy: Next, add half a cup of baking powder.
He pours some baking powder into the bowl and starts mixing it with the flour.
Percy: Now, add one egg.
He looks around for the egg.
Percy: Wait where did the egg go?
Percy: ANNABETH WHERE DID YOU PUT THE EGGS?
Annabeth: THEY'RE IN THE FRIDGE!
Percy opens the fridge and looks around.
Percy: I DON'T SEE IT.
Annabeth: Oh, for gods sake. I'll come get it myself.
She enters the kitchen and opens the bottom compartment of the fridge. She hands an egg to Percy.
Percy: Thankss :>
He kisses her forehead. Annabeth gives him a small smile.
Annabeth: Whatever, Seaweed Brain.
She starts making her way out of the kitchen.
Percy: No wait! Stay and bake with us!
He gives her puppy dog eyes.
