I looked at my phone. It took awhile to build up the guts to call my dad.

"Oh thank god! You finally called!" He answered the phone within a second. "Where are you!? Are you alright!?"

"I'm fine. My friends just told me to call and tell you I'm alright. That's all." I said. "Bye..."

I then hung up before anymore was said. A girl walked up to me. She was beautiful.

"Hi, I've never seen you around here before. I'm Alex. What's your name?" She greeted. Even her voice was sweet.

"Uh... Will. And yeah, I'm new here. I just got here today." I responded.

I have never been nervous around girls. But this was different...

"Well maybe I can show you around some time. Are you free tomorrow afternoon?"

I nodded my head yes and we exchanged numbers. She winked before walking off. My knees were weak. And I began to blush.

I went to walk back inside. I was watching her walk away and missed the door handle. I ended up running into the door.

I fell onto the ground. I got up and dusted myself off. I looked around to see of anyone saw and awkwardly walked back in.

"Walk much?" Brian sarcastically remarked.

They were all laughing. I was embarrassed of my clumsiness. I wanted to change the subject.

"Did you see that girl?" I asked.

"You mean my sister?" Eddy chuckled.

"What?" I was shocked.

"Yeah. Alex; the girl who walked up to you. She's my sister." He confirmed in a slight humorous tone.

"Well she said that she's gonna show me around tomorrow. Basically a date I guess. But I can call it off if you don't want me to be with her. If you think it'll be too awkward." I said awkwardly. I really didn't want to leave her though.

"Hey, it's fine. I won't stop anyone from being with anyone." He assured. I thought for a second.

"How old is she? It's kinda important information that I didn't get." I asked.

"She's 18 too." Brian answered. He looked at the time. "We should probably get going. Where's your car?"

"Uh, all the way down the street." I responded.

He nodded his head okay. He drove me to the lot I was in. I got in my car and followed him to his house. I grabbed my guitar, backpack, and suitcase. We walked in.

"That's all you got?" He pointed out.

"Yeah, I tried not to bring a lot of things since I had no clue where I was going." I responded.

He showed me the spare room. It was pretty cool. He then handed me a spare key to the house.

"I used to have a roommate, who was also the guitar player but he got pissed off and left. So that's why there's furniture. Buy I promise the bed is clean." He explained.

"Thanks a lot Brian. You didn't have to do this." I thanked.

"Stop saying that. You're really cool. And I know what it's like on the streets or going from hotel to hotel. It sucks. I don't want that for anyone." He assured.

"What is the rent? I have some money with me." I asked.

"Just pitch in with some of the food, and we're good." He chuckled.

I set my stuff down and he gave me a tour of the house. It's pretty nice. I'm extremely lucky for this.

"Anyway, it's getting late. You can take a shower if you want. I'm going to bed. Night." He said.

I nodded my head okay. I took a shower then went to bed. I fell asleep quickly. It's been too long of a day for me.
