"don't you dare put this on yourself" he says I get a text from Sophie saying u should get home
"I gotta go" I say quietly he smiles at me
"call me whe you can okay" he says I nod in responce leaving his room
"you took your time" she says eating a slice of pizza
"you didn't cook today" I ask looking at her she sighs shaking her head
"I was so busy planing the funeral I forgot to buy groceries" she says sighing
"we're having a funeral" I ask raising my eyes brow I didn't know that's what she planned
"oh yea I thought you'd know" she says I shake my head
"it's fine" I take a slice of pizza and water I didn't eat with Sophie I sat in the kitchen counter after my meal decided to have an early night and go to bed

I got downstairs and saw Sophie crying
"you okay" I ask she jumps probably not expecting me she instantly wipes her tears before she turns around
"oh uhm yea breakfast is in the table" she says fake smiling I sit next to her and hug her tight
"I miss him some much" she mutters I rub my back trying to calm her down eventually she did and we had breakfast we just talked about dad and it made me realise that life is to short
"Sophie I gotta go" I sag she frowns slightly knowing she never sees me anymore I kiss her temple and run to the sway house
I got to the sway house and I didn't bother knocking I knew that Bryce was awake because i saw his good morning text
"screw it" I say opening bryce's door causing him to raise his eyebrow looking at me confused
"huh?" was all he managed to say having know clue what exactly I was saying
"what I said yesterday screw it life's way to short to be safe all the time" I say shrugging my shoulders he smiles
"who are you and what have you done with Everlynn" he says walking over to me and wrapping his arms around my waist
I look into his deep brown eyes we made I contact until I realised his gaze flickered to my lips I smile wrapping his arms around his neck and pulling him in for a kiss
