Before I could answer his question the guy that opened the door and kept smiling came up to me and grabbed my shoulder," excuse me"i said" you need to come with me" he said" you know dis Niggah" August asked looking at him,"Fuck no"i kinda yelled"let go of my mommy" layla yelled starting to cry.
He gripped my shoulder tighter and August got up." You and Layla out now"August yelled, by now everybody was bystanders." Naww she need to come with me, he said yanking my shoulder.august punched him and they stated fighting. I grabbed Layla and brought her outside and put her in the car. I wanted to go back inside, but Layla was here. Why did that man want me? How does he know me? He must've or he wouldn't just pull me... Right?! I was pacing around on the sidewalk when layla was in the car, screamimg to tell August we need to leave.
I called Jason and it went straight to voicemail, I also called Lance and it said the line was busy. I aint called my mom, Jenny, or Latoya, cause....cause well... What could they do. And i wanted to know if this had anything to with Bones drugdealing, or what he was talking about, or would he set me up to scare me to come back home.
I dont know, all i know is that, i got school in 2 more days and i am not tryna have this weighing down in my mind. I opened the door on Laylas side." Baby, im bout to go get August, so i need you NOT to open this door for nobody, not even me cause i got the key,ok?"i told her."ok, just hurry i wanna go home"she wined."Alright i just want you to be quiet"I said and closed the doors and locked them.
In my city you gotta expect the unexpected and some more. It could be somebody watching me, or am I taking it to the extreme. Even if I am, I don't care, cause where I'm from they be on some snake shit. I opened the door to IHOP and 3 people were holding August back, while they had the other man sitting down."Come on fuck, lemme go, ma ride rite there" August said I guess to the manager."Ma'am are you here for him"he asked

August looked and smiled and i retuned the gesture
"Well, you can sign this, as a witness to show that August is banned for this IHOP" August snapped his neck to the side
"Fuck you mean, bullshit ass restraunt , I should break yo damn jaw too, you know what, you lucky I go to church on Sunday's and you lucky I know Jesus, and Jesus don't like ugly, and you damn show ain't pretty, ugly ass mufucka" I looked at August and snickered, I was tryna hold my laughs in cause he probably already thinking blacks ain't civilized. I signed it and we both left out. We both got in the car

We pulled up at the house and we got out the car. August got Layla out and we went in the house. Everyone was in the living room. Lance, Jenny,janevae,and Janie." Where yall been at"Janie asked" something happend at IHOP, but no one wanted to answer the phone" I said looking at Lance and Jason." What happend"he said
"Niggah gone come up to ma Gurl and grabbed her damn shoulder and come wit me"he said getting mad all over again,"and what the hell did you do"jenny ask raising her voice"I broke his damn jaw" he said confined
