"MARLENEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" screamed Sirius from the entrance of the common room. Damn child interrupted my nap!
"what do you need, you arse?" I retorted grumpily from my place on the couch. Where I was wrapped up in a blanket and curled into a ball.
"I caught a birdie"
"That's nice....................................... WAIT WHAT"
"I have a birdie" I shot up from my spot on the couch the blanket still wrapped around my body, Why the fuck did he have a bird! Then I realized.
"Release it! Why do you..." I started, "I hate you"
"No, you love me" He responded shaking the birdie thingy muggles use in a game called badminton.
"Did you take that from the muggle studies classroom?" I snapped marching toward him.
"uhhhhh no" Sirius responded.
"Don't lie to me"
"Ok"
"Did you kink it from muggle studies?" I was now right in front of him looking up at him with a dangerous look on my face which probably would be scary if I wasn't so much shorter than him.
"Of course I did, McKitten," He chuckled making eye contact with me, "whatcha gonna do about it"
"That's a dangerous sentence, Black, many possible outcomes" I smirked evilly.
"Oh? Please explain" he grinned towering over me by stepping closer to the point where we were nearly touching.
"Argh, for merlin's sake! You two can shag each other later but right now, Marly, we need to study OWLs are coming up" Lily intervened.
"Man, Lily-Flower always ruining my fun" shot Sirius.
"Let's go, Lil" I smiled linking arms with the redhead. Once we both exited to portrait hole Lily squinted her eyes at my almost as if she was trying to find something.
"Can I help you?" I asked causing her to shake her head and sigh.
"Why won't you two get together already?"
"WHAT! Me and- me and Sirius?" I gapped
"No, you and the bookshelf," groaned Lily, "It's almost too obvious, how much you guys like each other"
"HA! we're just friends Lil" I laughed.
"No, you two are just so oblivious that you need someone to tell you that you have clearly fallen for each other" Lils reasoned.
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes, "we're almost to the library, let's get studying over with"
"Oh come on studying isn't that bad" Lily retorted dragging me around the corner to the library entrance.
"Studying is legit, student dying" I grumble as she continued to pull me to the back corner of the library where we've done all our studying since, well, first year.
*2 hours later*
"Ok, so, I'm finished with Charms, DADA, Potions, and Astronomy" I smiled proudly closing my Potion's textbook with a SMACK.
"Shhhhh, ladies quiet" hushed Madam Pince from the bookshelf across from us. Lily smiled sweetly and apologized before shooting me a glare.
"I completed Potions, Transfiguration, Arithmancy, Charms-"
