"You're such an idiot" I groaned looking at Sirius as he worked on his motorcycle.
"Just wait once Lily helps me modify it, it'll be amazing" He responded.
"No, I love the bike, I'm talking about the fact that you're smoking near gasoline, a very flammable substance" I reasoned.
"If it bugs you so much go back inside" chuckled Sirius. So I did. It's only two weeks into summer and I already know I won't survive. My parents are away on their Auror business, all my brothers have missions from the Order of the Phoenix, and apparently, I can't stay at home all summer by myself. So I was sent here, to the Potter's. Turns out Sirius is staying here too, which is a plus and a minus at the same time. Once I got inside I searched the Potter Manor up and down again trying to memorize every door, room, and hallway.
"Marlene, dear" shouted Mrs. Potter from who knows where.
"Yea" I yelled back.
"One Miss Evans is here to visit you"
"Sweet! Thank you, Mrs. P" I rushed back through the maze of hallways to find Lily standing in the entryway.
"LILY!" I shouted and ran up to her and hugged her.
"I didn't know you were coming over" I smiled.
"Sirius asked me to come over to help charm his motorbike to fly, he used you as another reason for me to come over" she laughed giving me one last squeeze and then letting go.
"So, uh, where's James?" Lily inquired pretending not to be interested.
"Come on" I giggled and lead her through the Manor to the back of the house.
"There he is" I pointed up to James who was on his broomstick doing laps around the yard, attempting crazy tricks, and just being a boy.
"Lil, shut your mouth you might start drooling" I teased.
"What? Over Potter no way" she broke her stare.
"Sure. I'll take ya to the garage where Sirius is working" I laughed. We walked around the house to the garage. We chatted along the way but once we entered I stopped halfway through my sentence. Why? Because Sirius was working on that darn bike, cigarette in his mouth, no shirt, and a look of sheer concentration on his face. DAMn, he's hot.
"Who's drooling now" whispered Lils elbowing my side.
"Shut it," I retorted, "Sirius, your charms expert is here" I announced breaking Sirius' focus and startling him. He looked up and smiled at us. Merlin, that smile.
"Hiya, Lily-Flower, I'm just about done then I'll see if it works," Sirius explained, "after that, you can work your magic" He sent a wink our way causing both Lily and I to roll our eyes.
"Alrighty then, call us when you need us" Lily snapped her fingers and turned on her heel, and exited the garage.
"We'll be in the house," I tell Sirius before joining Lily.
"So do I get a tour," asks Lily gesturing to the Manor. This causes me to laugh and Lily to give me an odd look.
"I don't even know my way around yet and it's been 2 weeks!" I explained.
"Wow, so your room then?"
"My room" I agreed and lead her into the house.
"Hi girlies, would you like some Limeade?"
