      "Oh, shit,"

Smolder couldn't stop thinking about what those two words Gallus said, especially since those words perfectly described the entire thing. S***. Everything was s***. Everything was getting bad.

They were stuck on this stupid piece of s*** and had nothing to show for it. She did not want to stay here. That was plain and simple and clear. Non of them wanted to stay here.

She couldn't help but groan as she plopped back down on the bed which she shared with Yona and had done stuff in, but she was willing to ignore that. She grabbed a pillow and slammed it to her face, cursing her odds and her life.

None of them for sure liked being here. They were living in some random house and what could probably be the most important building in the EH Nebula got burned.

Smolder wished they had better living conditions. It wasn't that the house was bad or anything. The house was quite good. It was just that she wished that there was something she could control in this new world.

She really loved being in control of something, so that after every unfortunate incident, there's still something she could hold on to. It was like that after her first Molt.

Her brother was luckily someone easy to control. It's not like she would manipulate him but every time she wanted to do something, he got her back, and whenever he wanted to do something, she got his.

After her first Molt and she stepped on to become her own Dragon, Garboe had been there to see her first flaps, her first fly. He teaches her how to reach the sky.

She could never be any more grateful for him. He was there when her parents weren't. They had a great life together, and when she moved to the School of Friendship, she was glad to have met such loyal friends.

Meanwhile, here in this smoking piece of junk that they call a nebula, she had absolutely no one who could possibly help her. Her friends  were just as helpless.

Sure, Carina and Rosette existed, but the former seemes to busy with destroying her brother to hell while the latter seemed to be busy overcoming her gay crush on someone.

She honestly couldn't tell how dense creatures could get, sometimes. Sure, she loved being feminine and was really good at hiding it, but everything else she's ever done that she made so obvious? Like her crush on Yona?

Her friends were so oblivious to that. They had always been so oblivious. It was only when she told Yona yesterday that the Yak finally realised it and understood.

She was also a bit proud to say that the Yak loved her back, though Smolder wasn't going to admit that out loud to anyone. Ever. She sighed as she heard voices discussing about going to Pluto to probably s*** on Orion.

She could recognise Yona's voice and Smolder tried not to groan. She really did. But she couldn't help it. She didn't want her girlfriend to be away from her just after one day they got together.

She sighed, exasperated and helpless. She supposed she should just let the Yak do whatever the hell she wants, but she couldn't help but feel the least but worried for her. She hoped she would stay safe.

She trusted the Yak, too. She had to trust the Yak. She had no other choice, did she? She should know her girlfriend would be able to survive anything thrown in her path, because she survived everything before.
