Chapter #15 Legion

She was not beaten like most prisoners.She was simply thrown into a cell..But the guards are yappin about her, Sometimes while making guard posts i can hear the commanders talking about a trade..One night i sat next to the window of the barracks

"We got the 'package' what are we going to trade her with?" The Unity commanders were talking

One unity soldier replied "We can make territory swaps."

Unity is expanding their land grab. I moved away from the barracks i saw guards moving..I dropped into the ground to avoid detection.

"So..What will they do to Natalia?" One guard asked his friend

"Dunno i bet command is having some sort of 'Negotiations' they are having " He said with a voice full of sarcasim

I could not help but chuckle along with the guards. They passed by me did not see me so i sprinted back to my cell. My friends were waiting

"Alright. They are planning to use Natalia as some sort of trade." I told them

Victoria replied "For what? What are they planning to trade her with?"

"Territory." I replied "A classic ploy if you ask."

Ray was not sure about her security..

Valentina told us "Will we help her? I mean the break out is tommorow."

Ian replied "Yeah we need to start with or without her."

Victoria replied "No. She is just like us. But i doubt she will leave the USRR."

While they were talking i was thinking what value she is to the Renegade. She might just be the one to bring us together. "We have to save her." I told them.. I wanted to use her as a hostage too, But to unite USRR and Renegade. I hate the USRR but they might be our only hope.

Ryan "Well if you insist we will tell the prisoners that the break out will be two days later."

"Thank you." I replied

As soon as i was about to sit down..Victoria whent to my shoulder and whispered "What are you planning?"

I gulped and replied "She is one of us right..Your old friend."

She whispred back "I know what you are planning you want to use her for territory grabs..Danielle i dont like the way you think."

"She can unite us all Victoria." I replied

"Try.." She told me and went back to her spot "This will just bring more bloodshed Danielle. Trust me."

I stood there i made my decision. Since im a Renegade she will not easily trust me. I need to converse with her. I went back to sleep with an uncertain future waiting ahead of me. Was she right? No way. The guards ordered us to clean the barracks.. I dont know where they keep Natalia. But as i was building their towers i saw large concentrations of guards at one spot..Seems Strange also the tower i was building will intentionally fail the guards we made the structure weak as soon i was done with the wooden tower it was lunch break for the guards.Without anyone knowing i sneak inside the prison i was carrying packed bread just to earn her trust.

I was inside the army barracks of the soldiers.It was empty i saw how careless the guards are..They left a rifle that's loaded near their beds. It was a Kalashnikov but i did not take it or else that would raise suspicion amongst the guards so i skipped it and kept moving. I reached her cell she noticed me even before i got there.

"Hey!" I told her silently "You are Natalia right?!"

She looked at me with a stare...As if she has seen death in person her eyes burning with anger and fury, I cleared my throat and i passed her the bread. She was silent and did not eat.
