Chapter #10 Blitzkreig!

It was around 4:21 AM And the firing did stop we are not being engaged. The gun shots seem to be at our north east near the cemented road but its quite far from here and its Surrounded by a forest after hours of fear and anxiety among the soldiers and fellow allies.We had Civilians with us we needed to evacuate them soon after a few minutes we were given orders

"All Officers and Squad leaders there will be a meeting at the train yard now! Repeat announcement All Officers and Squad leaders please report at the Train depot now." The Stalker with a megaphone shouted.

"Well Squad leader? Oh well better head there." I said to myself.

Levi came close and said "Good luck sir me and the rest of the squad will watch over."

I nodded and smiled "Thanks."

I soon walked down the abandoned streets. The town had some houses but most were shacks (A poor man's house). I saw Renegades getting ready to engage. I soon pass by one of the most important strategic locations in the battle field and i saw the soldiers packing up and leaving well i was thinking.. Are they going to leave us behind? That question alone made me shiver in fear. The streets turned to a detour well it was muddy. Because last night the rain poured down maybe we can use this as our advantage in combat.I then reach the train yard it was busy train yard. They were heading back to the metro. So i saw Squad leaders gathering around and listening to the commander. I heared the squad leaders whispering the same thing through and fro.

"Are we up against the USRR?"

"USRR?! You meant the New Socialist Republic of Russia?! I heared they are armed to the teeth! Because they captured one of the gun market territories at the red zone."

'No kidding i heard they are one territory hungry faction controlling 47% of Moscow and they are adding more?!"

"I fucking hope not the commie bastards will rip us! They got the highest population , meaning there is a big fucking force who are tasked to capture the junkyard."

"Yeah i heard they have the most vehicles and tanks. We only have three Anti-tank cannons we are super dead."

Then alone voice raised up amongst the soldiers "QUIET!"

"My name is Lepimyenko and i'm a replacement to your old commander. He has defected at the enemy side. Our scouts have seen a large force heading our way It is unknown what faction it is they have seen both USRR and Spartan soldiers. Well i guess the gun fire means they have met each other and they are not happy well i guess that's good new's because their capture force will decrease after some fighting and casualty. Alright If the town or if the junk yard ever falls to enemy hands we will have to destroy it. Our tactic will be scorched earth."

Then the crowd started asking questions and they were yelling at him.

"You want to burn down the junk yard?! The second largest town!?"

"Destroy the house's?! No don't tell me we are going burn down the only fucking wheat feild in the Moscow wasteland!"

I saw his smile disappear and it was replaced with a frown..'ENOUGH!!" the crowd was silenced.

"We can't afford the USRR to capture this town! If they do they got the largest bread basket in the Moscow ruins to feed their men!!!" He paused "We cant let it fall to them and if they dont capture this then the massive army WILL starve!!"

One of the officers asked Lepimyenko "How about their houses?"

"Their Houses are expendable they are not needed." He further explained "Remember we must burn down all the houses if needed!"
