Chapter 5: Get the Chaos emerald!

You were relaxing on the beanbag in the workshop.

The others were attempting to explain the chaos emeralds to Chris.

You weren't really paying attention.

Lately you have had more and more of those strange dreams.
You were still seeing Shadow the hedgehog and talking to him.

But it was weirder.

Your heart rate would quicken or you'd feel heat going into your cheeks while talking to him.

There was no reason for it, nor did you really understand why but there was something about him.
Something that kept drawing you in.
Pulling you to him.
You wanted to know more about him.

Even if he could be just a figment of your imagination.
You wanted to know more.

You must've fell asleep completely, because you saw Shadow in front of you.

"You again?" He asked.

You looked around confused for a second

" Huh? Oh... I must've fell asleep completely. I was just napping"
You scratched the back of your neck.

"No! I mean why do you keep appearing here?" He crossed his arms.

"I don't know! Whenever I fall asleep I just appear here! I don't know how to control it!" You frowned a bit.

"And besides we've been talking like this together for years now! So I just got used to seeing you in my dreams"

"Woah wait...
Whenever you fall asleep?
So you are real?
Not just a weird hedgehog my mind made up?".

"Hold up...
I thought you were just a made up hedgehog my mind came up with".

You two just started at each other for a while.

"Huh? Wha? What's going on?" You quickly jumped up, startling Cream, who was trying to wake you up.

"Oh! It's just you! Im so sorry. I was having a little nap. What's going on?"
You asked.

"They found one of the chaos emeralds!" Cream said.

"What? Where?".

You were running through the city. Sonic jumped up to look for it with a bird side view.

He stood on an antena.
Suddenly he jumped down and ran past you.
You quickly followed.

Running through the town you felt at times that you feel it closer.

You huge crowd of people crowding in front of a building.

"I'll go get the-"

You grasped Sonic by his spikes.
"Try not to draw attention to yourself for once"
