You were laying on your bed in your room.
What happened?
You sat up.

It was dark outside.
Well it was always dark outside but it was different.
Not like traveling through space.

The moon was up, implying, you were
on a planet.

You heard a sigh.
You looked away from the window.

Someone was sleeping in your chair at your desk.
You squinted your eyes, letting them adjust to the dark a bit.
Was it Shadow?

You climbed out of the bed and went to him.
You put your hand on his shoulder.
He flinched and immediately woke up. He looked at you, his red eyes somehow slightly shined in the dark.

He got up and huggged you.
"Love? Are you feeling alright?"

You hugged back
"of course I am Love" You yawned slightly.

Shadow sighed in relief but still had worry in his eyes.
" You should go back to bed though"

"Only if you come with me" You said tiredly.

"Love, there's not nearly enough space on the bed for both of us" Shadow smiled.

You sat on the bed and pulled Shadow with you.

You layed down and scooted up to the wall.
You patted the space in front of you. Shadow layed down.

You both had a slight blush on your cheeks, whether it was from being tired or embarrassment.

You pulled the sheet over the both of you and huggged Shadow and burrowed your face in his chest fluff.
You could feel his pulse.
The sound of it slowly lulling you to sleep.

He huggged back and burrowed his muzzle in your quills.
"Love you"

"Love you too" You mumbled tiredly.

You felt Shadow caressing your cheek.
You smiled, opening your eyes.
It was still dark outside.
The moon was lower, perfectly illuminating everything in your room.

"I'm sorry Love, I didn't mean to wake you up" Shadow drew his hand back.

You smiled again, putting your own hand on his cheek.
"I don't mind" you whispered.

Shadow placed his hand on yours, lifting it up from his cheek and kissing your knuckles.

"That tickles" You giggled.

Shadow smirked and kissed your hand again.
He kissed up your arm, each time earning a light laugh from you.

He lifted up his head and looked deeply into your eyes, smiling.
His eyes traveled to your lips for a moment.

You caressed his cheek again.
You leaned in closer and kissed Shadow on the nose.
This time it was his turn to laughed.

He pressed his forehead to yours, looking lovingly into your eyes.
He leaned in and kissed you on the llips
You closed your eyes, leaning into the kiss.

You both pulled away afterwards.
"I love you" he whispered.
