    Chapter 30: Chilling discovery

    "My new program can detect Chaos Emeralds in the galaxy no matter how far away it may be" Chris said, turning to look at Sonic. 
    "Alright Sonic, what do you say we try it out". 
    Sonic gave the dark blue emerald to him " Sure thing". 
    "Okay" Chris put the emerald into the computer.
    "Now we just connect it to the main interface and we'll be on our way" Tails typed on his keyboard for a bit. 
    "Knuckles everything okay?" Tails asked through the communicator. 
    "So far so good" Knuckles responded. 
    A map appeared on the main screen.
    "Woah" Tails frowned a bit. 
    "What's up? you got something?" Knuckles asked. 
    "Yeah, I'm detecting a response already" 
    A white flashing light appeared on the screen. 
    "It's thanks to you Chris" Cosmo smiled at him. 
    "It's not a big deal really" Chris grinned.
    "Sure it's a big deal" You said smiling slightly. 
    "Yeah! I've built lots of neat stuff, but I couldn't have come up with something this good overnight" Tails praised him.
    "Come on Tails, you're embarrassing me". 
    "Amy what's the location?" Tails asked.
    "The signal is coming from a place called planet Breezy" Amy reported.
    "That sounds cool, okay planet Breezy, here we come".
    "We're on our way" Amy smiled
    "Engage warp field driver" Tails typed on his keyboard. 
    A ring of light appeared in front of the ship. 
    "Warp field ready. Let's go!" The typhoon flew into the ring and quickly blasted off.

    The typhoon slowed down in front of planet Breezy. 
    "There it is guys straight ahead" Amy stated
    You sat by back set of controls on the left of Tails. 
    "But, these readings say there's rough weather. The whole planet is in the middle of a snowstorm" You put up a screen showing the planet in its current state. 
    "Maybe the Materex have taken its planetegg away" Cosmo looked at the screen sadly. 
    "That would explain the weird weather they're having" Tails theorized. 
    "Everything looks so cold and lonely" Cosmo spoke sadly. 
    "Even so, we have to go down there and look for the emerald. Ready Sonic?" Chris asked. 
    "Sure, let's go!" Sonic gave him a thumbs up.
