Chapter 8: Fierce fight! Sonic baseball team!

You were flying with Tails in the X-tornado, testing out how the Chaos emerald installed in it worked.

"The X-tornado, seems to be flying really great since we installed the Chaos emerald.
This has to be just about the smoothest flight I've ever been on" Tails said.

"Huh?" Tails said.

"What is it?" You asked.

"The Chaos emerald seems to have picked up something" Tails pointed at the light shining from  the emerald.

"Could it be another Chaos emerald?" He asked.

"Maybe. If I could focus my power just enough I should be able to sense it" You closed your eyes and relaxed.

Right away you could feel another Chaos emerald somewhere near.

"Anything?" Tails asked.

"I think I can feel another Chaos emerald somewhere near".

The X-tornado started to shake.
"What's happening?"

"I can't control it!" Tails yelled.

"We must be getting close. It's like this chaos emerald is pulling us to it!" You noticed a stadium in the distance.

"Tails! It might be somewhere near that stadium" You said.

Tails almost crashed into the stadium but was able to take control of the tornado again and dodge it.

"We'd better go down there".

Tails landed in front of the stadium and the both of you walked in.

Tails told you to grab the Chaos emerald just in case.

You walked through a dark hallway. Only the green chaos emerald shined brightly in your hand.

You had to shield your eyes from the bright white light shining on the stadium.

You stepped on the bright green grass. It looked healthy and very well taken care of.

You saw a man trying to start a lawnmower tractor.
You and Tails walked towards him.

"E-Excuse me sir?" You said.

"Hello?".

"Hey!" Tails yelled.
The man looked at us.

"K-keep away!" He screamed.

"I'm sorry it's just that we were in my plane and that the Chaos emerald started glowing and-"

You cut Tails of while he was panicking.
"Don't worry sir we won't hurt you".

You and Tails, explained to the man what you were doing here and why.

"Sure is some story, little fellas.
Never would have guessed that was you flying in that plane up there" The man pondered.
