Chapter 14

Jo's pov

This past week has flown by me and Hero have spent everyday and night together as much as we could. Today is Saturday and we are all going to a party at the beach. So far people have been getting better at accepting me and Hero's relationship. The OMG girl's even apologized to me which made me and Mercy shocked to say the least and Elle has been really sweet she came up to me yesterday and said she always knew me and Hero would wind up together and that we made a cute couple. Me and Mercy are in my room getting ready I decide to wear an aqua bikini while Mercy wears a pink one. We both add a white shawl over it and our sunglasses. The sun is shining and we head towards the beach. "The boys are getting ready still?" I ask Mercy. "No they are already there waiting for us" she says. We arrive at the beach and it is packed a huge bon fire in the middle and beer pong tables set up. On the hill I see they added a slip and slide and then you drink and flip the cup for the end of it. That looks like fun. I scan the area and see Hero and Felix playing football and he smiles at me and then gets tackled by a bunch of bikini clad girls. I shake my head smirking as I remove my shawl and head towards the slip and slide with Mercy. She takes her shawl off too and I look over at Hero who has pulled the girls off of him with a scowl as he watches me with his mouth wide open I dive down laughing as I slide down the soapy plastic tarp fast with another girl racing beside me. I get to the end first and down the beer in the cup before flipping it over it lands on one try and my team cheers me on as Mercy dives down laughing I yell "yes sis let's go." The other girl finally flips her cup as Tuppin heads down the slide Mercy is already at her cup she gulps it down and flips it she misses and Tuppin has caught up and is drinking his beer "come on Merc you got this" I encourage her she smiles at me and then flips the cup landing it as we all cheer in victory. I hug Mercy as we jump up and down laughing as we let go suddenly Warren picks me up and spins me around saying "looking good Langford." "Put me down Warren I don't feel so good" I say. He puts me down but then says "how about we go relax in the hot tub" as he tries to pull me towards his beach house. I rip my hand away and say "I'm with Hero and I said no Warren." "Oh please you and Hero serious" he laughs "come on it will be fun" he says again trying to pull me with him all of a sudden I hear Hero shout "she said no Warren." As he runs to my side and pulls my arm away from him. Hero is fuming beside me so I place my hand on his chest and say "hey I'm ok please just take me home babe." "Awwe you two are adorable" Warren mocks us. "Aren't we" I say and then pull Hero in and kiss him passionately as I do I can feel the anger leave him and be replaced by love he begins to hold my face as he deepens our kiss. We pull away for air and I look around and see that we are thankfully alone. "He's lucky you distracted me love otherwise I was about to kill him for touching you" he says caressing my cheek. "I love you Hero. Only you so please don't get into any trouble over stupid ass people" I beg him. "Promise me" I add. "I promise love" he says kissing me again.

Hero's pov

This week with Jo has been the best. We had so much fun just hanging out and making love. Going on dates with Mercy and Felix has even been great. Today is Saturday and we are all going to a beach party this douche bag Warren is throwing at his beach house. Me and Felix are already here waiting for the girls to arrive. I have already had to dodge off one to many girls so I hope Jo gets here soon. Me and Felix are tossing the football around when I see Jo and Mercy arrive I smile at her and then get tackled by some chicks I quickly get them off of me and say "sorry ladies but I have a girl." I look up and see Jo smirking as she takes her shawl off revealing a very sexy aqua bikini underneath making my mouth drop she walks over to the slip and slide and then goes sliding down laughing as she gets to the bottom she chugs her drink and flips the cup right over. "That's my girl" I say clapping. Felix walks over and we watch Mercy go down and can hear Jo telling her she got this after she missed the first try they win the race and Jo smiles and her and Mercy hug jumping up and down laughing and then when they pull apart I see Warren grab my girl and start spinning her around. What the fuck oh hell no. I make my way towards them but Felix pulls me back saying "keep your cool mate this is Josephine remember your promise to her." Fuck he's right. Ok Hero calm down you can do this without killing the prick. I stalk over to them and hear Jo say "I'm with Hero and I said no Warren." And then the prick says laughing "oh please you Hero serious come on it will be fun" as he grabs Jo's hand trying to pull her away I reach them yelling "she said no Warren" as I pull her arm away from him. I'm going to kill him who the fuck does he think he is touching my girl especially after she said no. "Hey I'm ok please just take me home babe" Jo says placing her hand on my chest. "Awwe you two are adorable" the prick mocks us. I go to move ready to punch the smirk right off his face until Jo says "aren't we" and then crashes her lips against mine as she teases me with her tongue caressing mine. We break apart and I see that everyone has left us and we are now standing here alone holding each other close. "He's lucky you distracted me love otherwise I was about to kill him for touching you" I say caressing her cheek. She smiles and then says "I love you Hero. Only you so please don't get into any trouble over stupid ass people." "Promise me" she pleads. "I promise love" I say pulling her in for another kiss. We head over to the bonfire and sit down next to Mercy and Felix. A few minutes later we are joined by Morgz, Sam, Valand, Jack and Elle. "Hey Jo, hi Mercy how you been" Elle asks the girls. "We've been great" Jo says smiling at me. "I got stuff for smores" she says showing the girls. "Oh yummy" Mercy says. "We need sticks though" Jo tells her. "Let's go find some" I say pulling her up. We walk along the trail and grab 9 good sticks heading back we pass them out and Elle hands us all marshmallows. As we roast them Jo is leaning against my chest with her body between my legs she pushes her ass back grinding into me making me hard I whisper in her ear and say "don't start what you can't finish baby girl." She smiles and blushes as she blows the fire from her marshmallow. We grab the Graham crackers and chocolate adding them all together we start eating our smores laughing and talking by the fire. Sam picks up his guitar and starts singing a song he wrote by the time the chorus comes back around I hear Josephine sing along with him everyone's eyes go wide as she sings in perfect harmony. The song ends and we all clap as Sam says "damn Jo we need to write a song together you can sing girl." I squeeze her shoulders letting her know if she wants this it's ok with me she smiles at me and then says "sure but only if Hero comes with me." "I'm cool with that" he says smiling at us. "Damn FT you got yourself a peng ting man. She's gorgeous, funny, smart and talented your one lucky wanker" Morgz busts out laughing. Jo blushes as I yell out laughing back "damn right I'm the luckiest bloody man in the world you don't need to remind me that." I pull Jo in for a kiss and she whispers against my lips "I love you so much." "I love you baby girl" I say making all my friends around us laugh Jack says "awwwe FT is whipped" "he's wifed up for life now" Morgz says laughing. "Let's get out of here" I say pulling Jo up as she giggles at my friend's talking shit about me even though they are 100% right about everything they are saying. "Yo Felix you and Mercy coming with" I ask him getting ready to leave.
