Chapter 25

Jo's pov

It's Christmas morning and I wake up Mercy saying "come on let's wake the boys up I'm too excited." "Uggh at least let me eat and brush my teeth first" she says groaning. "Fine hurry up" I tell her and jump out of bed in my red plaid Christmas pajamas. I run downstairs to see Martha and George making a huge breakfast. "Merry Christmas Jo hunny can you wake up the others for us?" She asks me. "Sure Mercy is already up but I'll go wake up the boys" I say excitedly. I run back upstairs and knock on the door not hearing an answer I open it and see Hero sprawled out on his bed as Felix sleeps on an air mattress. I quitely sneak over to his bed and jump on him saying "wake up sleepy head It's Christmas." He groans as he rolls over pulling me against him he smiles as he caresses my cheek giving me a kiss. After we pull away he says "Merry Christmas gorgeous." "Seriously it's fucking early" Felix groans looking at us. "It's Christmas wanker come on" Hero says as he pulls me up. "Yes get up Mercy is already waiting for you" I tell him and laugh as he jumps out of the bed. As we head into the hall Mercy comes out her room smiling as Felix pulls her close he kisses her and then says "Merry Christmas Merc I love you." "Merry Christmas Felix I love you too" she says blushing. "Ok I'm starving let's go" Hero says making me giggle as he grabs my hand and we head downstairs. The tree is beautiful we had so much fun decorating it together last night while Martha and George made dinner. "Damn mum you think your feeding a small army" Hero laughs at her as he gives her a hug. "Hey watch your mouth" she scowls him playfully smacking his arm. "I'm just kidding mum it looks great Merry Christmas" he says giving her a kiss on her cheek as she smiles at him. We all sit down and eat listening to Christmas songs play in the background while we talk and laugh. "Ok everyone Merry Christmas now let's get to the good stuff" George says clapping his hands together as he walks in the living room and grabs a present under the tree handing it to Martha. She smiles as she opens it and shrieks "Awwe I love it" as she holds up a necklace with all her kids birthstones on it. "Glad you love it sweetheart" he says giving her a kiss. "Let the kids go next" she says smiling. Hero smiles as he hands me a small square package with a red bow on it. I smile as I carefully take off the ribbon and open the black velvet box. As I open it I see a beautiful Pandora bracelet and take it out I look at the charms and start to tear up. He got a soccer ball(probably to remind me of him I think chuckling), an infinity symbol, the letters H and J with a Heart symbol in between them and a circle that had always and forever written on it and both our birthstones. "Oh my God Hero I absolutely love it" I say jumping into his arms and kissing him until I hear George clear his throat. I blush as I climb off of Hero who is smirking at me as he says "I'm so glad you loved it baby girl." "Mercy next" I say excitedly. "What you don't want to give me mines?" Hero pouts. "No me and Mercy want to do you and Felix's together it's special" I tell him and smile. "Fine" he huffs as Felix hands Mercy her gift. I watch my best friend smile as she opens up the box and picks up a gorgeous gold necklace she shrieks and says "my astrological sign I love it thanks babe" and gives Felix a chaste kiss. At least she had more restraint than me. "Let me see" I ask her as she shows me the gemini pendant on the necklace. "It's beautiful" I tell her. "Show me yours" she squeels as I hand her my bracelet she admires each charm and then laughs as she asks "Hero a soccer ball or should I say football what is that for?" "For her to remember me by" he says shrugging. Just what I thought I silently laugh to myself. But now it can remind of us our trip as well. "Ok enough stalling where is my present" Hero says chuckling. "Go sit near Felix" I tell him. "Seriously why is he my gift" Hero says jokingly as he goes and sits near Felix. "He's part of it" I say giggling as Hero furrows his brows and Felix looks confused. Me and Mercy hand them each a box and a envelope. "What do you want us to open first?" Felix asks us. "The box definitely the box" Mercy says smiling. Both the boys smile as they tear the box open and reveal their West Ham jerseys with their favorite players on them. "Awesome I love it" Hero says as he gets up to give me a kiss I giggle and push him back saying "there's more." Him and Felix continue to dig in the box and find smaller versions of the jerseys they have. As they look at each other confused Mercy says "there for us duh." "Awwe babe you want to match me" Felix says pulling her into his lap. I noticed Martha and George had left the room so I climb onto Hero's lap. "Open the envelope" I tell him. "Yes Felix open yours too at the same time" Mercy says excitedly. "Ok what could be in this envelope that has you girls so damn excited" Hero says chuckling. As him and Felix open them I watch as their eyes go wide.
